Was going to say, "gee Fev has had some influence"...

Interesting to see Collingwood's is so poor.

I guess the welfare cheques haven't come in yet!

Certain clubs mustn't have an automatic renewal system in yet.

They're upgrading their current system. The old one wasn't coping. Either that, or they couldn't read what they're members to-be were writing.

Allegedly Collingwood gave up on their speech recognition recording option over the phone too for their membership service. Rumour has it that because alot have missing teeth, it was affecting the time constraints of signing on their members and became a most difficult task. They've since adopted to a better means to help streamline their membership services.

Signing up membership at the Filth allegedly now involves the "Tic Tac Toe" method.

A poster on big footy says that West Coast have 99.5% retainership of their 40,000 ticketed members and a waiting list of 12,000+

why would you have a waiting list.?? surely youd signup all and everyone willing.

Not enough seats Bub, I suppose

Not enough seats Bub, I suppose

but why would you not still sign them up...then its first in best dressed. Great potential for up selling etc. But see what you say...if its paramount to offer everyone a seat. Lost opportunity for mine..still

Interesting position to be in... knocking back people... we wish

Perhaps they have a second tier membership system.

Seems similar to EPL the way it is though - and that seems to work pretty well for the teams (if not for the fans)

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
