Against us last week they kicked 3 behinds all day. Today they have 4 halfway through the first.

Rougie's first shot for goal - out on the full. The second was a point from right in front and his third finally made it!

Chris Johnson's performance so far has been pleasing. 2 kicks, one that cost Carlton a certain goal when he bombed away from 50 with 2 blues alone in the goalsquare and another kick on the full under no pressure. Visy may yet live to rue the $ they spent on that hack.

What about Roughhead's hands in the back (not paid again) for his second goal?

How does he get away with it?

Because he's so ugly the umpires don't want to have to look at him whilst explaining why he gave away a free kick.

Yes I am in grade 6.

Did anyone else see the article in the Sporting Life section of The Age last week about 'average' footy players? Based on team lists, the average height and weight and age were something like 187cm and 88kg (could be wrong), and Chris Johnson is both of those, making him the most 'average' football in the league. Justifies our decision.

I find that funny and I'm in uni...

A very observant young man you are!! I am at work & got a top laugh out of that one. Roughie is rather good at Hands in the Back isn't he. Certainly cost us some coin last weekend. Bugger it.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
