It seems the MFC isnt any longer part of that program...one the MFC initiated with the Vixens, Tigers, Racing Club.

Anybody know what happened?

i know the CEO of that organisation got 'boned' and ended up back in Townsville...... no idea otherwise

It seems the MFC isnt any longer part of that program...

based on ??

Still listed on the team Melbourne website.

I thought that whole association between the teams had no 'real' value other than the occasional press conference to promote all of the teams together.

& its not much of an association with Melb Tigers anyway if we happen to share some training facilities & staff with the South Dragons.

Pulled this old thread so as not to create new one, and it can sink to the bottom again, but;

I love Frawleys statement in the context of "Melbourne";

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/melbournes-james-frawley-avoids-heat-for-netball-reference-in-jack-trengove-tribunal-tweet/story-e6frf9jf-1226053928169

“I thought my mate played for the Melbourne Demons ... not the Melbourne Vixens!!!"

I view this as a 'connection' and not a derogatory remark. A connection with all that is MELBOURNE.... Vixens.. Victory.. Storm.

In fact everything that is not, for example "Collingwood".
