Hi, just wanted to let all Demonland members know that I have started a Melbourne blog called Melbfc Blog. Every day (just about) there will be a post all about the current issues at the club. I am doing it mainly because I think it is something that Melbourne supporters want and I would love it if you could bookmark it and read once a day. I am open to suggestions as well.

Thanks.

Exxxcellent.

Since I am living overseas I am starved for Demon news and 'Land and 'Ology are a little quiet right now so another outlet is terrific. Good luck. I am off to read it right now...

Why don't you contribute it on Demonland ? seems unfair and unethical to advertise it on Land, when what you are really trying to do is establish your own web / blog site..

I am not impressed at your canabalism of Demonland.

Do the hard yards like Nash and guys have done here- USE YOUR OWN RESOURCES INSTEAD OF SOMEONE ELSES.

IMO either he writes his blog on Land, or he doesn't try and start a competitive site using Land to advertise it - what he is trying to do is take contributors away from Land , so Land eventually suffers , and the hard work done by Nash and others gets wasted.

that's not true at all. Seriously, if you don't like it, don't read it. If you read his blogs, he actually mentions demonland every now and then. He is not advertising on land per se, he is saying "hey, if you are interested, I have made todays blog." I think that it's a good idea. He is not making money from it or anything, and it is not a forum, so why can't he let other Melbourne supporters know that he is doing his blog.

I have read all of them, likewise I like to read Demon2's blog at SuperFooty and the Demon blog "Every Given Sunday." The more out there about Melbourne the better.

So, good work bloodpumpsRnB...keep it up and unless told off by admin, keep notifying us if you would like to.

cheers

We do now know that the website is there though.

Perhaps he should write to Nasher etc. asking for the original post to be pinned, letting people know there is a blog out there about the Dees. I don't think it really needs another post every blog, otherwise this thread will be at the top forever

nice point. but i think it is unfair for others to be saying that he shouldnt be allowed to notify us of his posts

How else am I going to notify Demons supporters? And besides, I am not trying to draw people away from Demonland, or any other forum for that matter. I am just informing the Demon online community that it is there and I believe that it is something that some fans like. Not all, but some.

I've never really understood the point of web logs (blog is such an ugly word), you may as well just write your thoughts on a Demonland thread or start a new thread if it is a new topic.

I believe that both forums and blogs have a place in society. Forums are for everyone to come together and discuss each other's opinions, while a blog is for everyone to read and comment on one person's opinion.

The truth is I don't really want to post every blog, it's just that after a few days the thread falls to the bottom and aside from the people who check everyday, everyone else forgets about it and then that's it. If it could be pinned that would be great, but until then I feel it necessary to keep bumping the thread.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
