I'm so disappointed I won't be able to get to this game... It really is the only opportunity these days that I get to pull on the boots (however embarrassing the ensuing efforts with the football are)...

think the sainters are saying the parking is better at arden street, wise, and it's just as good for public transport...

now there is a question mark over whether or not arden street has a turf wicket set up... :wacko:

sainters will check out gosch's paddock again, and will get back to us...

I have heard from most of the leadership group and will confirm the venue on here asap...

diverted to arden street on my way to melbourne tonight...

lovely, forgiving surface, centre circle, goal posts, car park, close to public transport, no cricket wicket, perfect...

I'm a doubtful starter due to injury but I'll try and get down to watch. The Arden St ground isn't far from where I work, it's in good nick at the moment and no cricket is played there on weekends.

Yeah I do have way too many brothers but at least it's never too hard to find a willing partner to go to the footy on the weekend. BL3281 would be a great KPP. Carries a few more kg's than in his hey day, but has natural talent. I'll work on him. Dooky has already proven himself in Demonland colours and says he's a good chance to play. The last one is a bit of a p#$$y since he broke his leg 15 years ago. He reckons he was good before it happened... No one believes him. (I hope he reads this :lol: :lol: ). But I'll see if he wants to play... his wife may have a say in it though.

Melway map reference 2G E10...

TRAIN... to richmond station, walk south down punt road (city side). Walk past the collingwood training ground. If you come to boulton parade, you have gone too far...

CAR... free parking may be available at the punt road oval. If not, try the richmond side streets south and east of swan street...

WEATHER... extended forecast says hot...

people, it's melbourne, so bring umbrellas !!

the sainters have the personnel to provide a real contest and a tough game...

people, it's melbourne so bring water AND suncreen !!!

helpers... we have never had enough additional water, so don't slack off on your commitments...

I have 4 additional guernseys, but bring additional jumpers if you have them for players without...

AFTER MATCH DRINKS... crickerters arms hotel, punt road...follow the crowd...

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9.
