Just got my proof copy of my team photo, and had to share it with someone who would appreciate it.

As no-one else was around, thought you guys would do :)

Great pic tell us more about how you come about getting it

whos the bloke next to dean bailey?

That would be me!

I won the auction at the Ballarat Demon's event in Jan (Feb?) to get my photo taken with the team. Took a while to organise, but totally worth it! They are sending me a framed copy, but I got a hold of the proof to wave in peoples faces until it comes.

Well it's hard to see in such a small pic, but I'm holding back a ridicuously huge grin :D

I got to chat to most of the boys afterwards, and they had been told that I had purchased the oppurtunity (with the money going towards their new tacking gear) so there was a lot of hand shaking and 'thanks mate'. I'm 5'10'', but when the small blokes (Petterd, Yze etc) are towering over you, you certainly get a new respect for them.

I have a copy pinned to my desk here at work, and keep finding myself staring at it and smiling.

It's a pity Brock isn't in it

Brock was getting his ankle done, Riv's was in Adelaide and Neita retired. But Moloney and Robbo, the two other season-ites were there, Robbo in his moon-boot and all.....

Thats awesome. Robbo what a legend. Should be keeping his foot up!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
