Coach Dean Bailey has hinted he may call on untried youngster Stefan Bailey (no relation) to make his debut on Lions star Jonathan Brown.

"We'll probably look at a couple of changes this week. We'll look at a couple of blokes from (VFL club) Sandringham whose form has been good," he said.

Relax..its a Murdoch publication where facts are not critical. :D

I still think Ch 10 "Sports Tonight" takes the prize when Collingwood was re negotiating Nathan Buckley's contract about 10 years ago. Tim Webster headline that Nathan Buckley had resigned from Collingwood in a shock decision. 45 minutes into the program Tim Webster had to announce a correction that Nathan Buckley had re-signed with Collingwood for a further 3 years!

Great journalism there Andrew. I love it how he even went to the length of saying "no relation".

That's because Dean Martin's dead.

This seems a bit dubious too:

Daniel Bradshaw, Travis Johnstone and Justin Sherman are pressing their claims for selection, however, it could be the Demons' changes that are the most significant.

PS. They've edited the article text, but the headline is 'Young gun Bailey to make his debut' :D

Thats the Courier Mail for you.

Brisbane should just rest Bradshaw with the split round. If they rush him back it will be because of the doubt on J.Brown. Who might need a good rest?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
