Bartram - just a game

Bate - signs of growth

Bode - has shown nothing

Bruce- leading the way

Davey - needs consistent involvement

Dunn - finally some substance

Frawley - a year away

Garland - not as influential

Green - classy rebounding game

Jamar - little to excite

C. Johnson - may have arrived

P. Johnson - becoming an influence

Jones - couldn't break shackles

McDonald - happier on ball

McLean - not as influential

Miller - provided active target

Sylvia - tried but failed

Warnock - tried but overwhelmed

Wheatley - our best player

Whelan - lost in battle

White - active and valuable

Wonaeamirri - limited game influence

once again you are mostly on the ball

however, i disagree with white...i think he has lost it

aussie made the most of his oppurtunities

bate...best game of his career

White floats in and out of the game like no one else on the list.

He had one possession in the second half. He is a master of hiding.

Bartram - Some OK defensive things.

Bate - Stepped up.

Bode - Didnt have an influence.

Bruce- Leading the way.

Davey - Looked tidy.

Dunn - Did well, Continue..

Frawley - Ok, Needs the body

Garland - Did the job

Green - Fine, fine game.

Jamar - Did alright tapping.

C. Johnson - Solid, Developed well.

P. Johnson - Presented well.

Jones - Looked out of it.

McDonald - Different role.

McLean - Tried.

Miller - Provided active target

Sylvia - Tried hard.

Warnock - Out of his depth.

Wheatley - Rebounded well.

Whelan - Solid return.

White - Excellent game.

Wonaeamirri - Tried hard, consistent.

White was poor, and once again Wheatley keeps missing crucial targets. At his age and with his experience, his disposal is unacceptable at times.

Thought Aussie made the most of his limited opportunities. 3 goals from a small forward is a good return.

I dont often post but was there on the weekend so got a good look.

Bartram - really lacking confidence.

Bate - a natural talent

Bode - Not Afl standard

Bruce- solid game

Davey - still not consistent

Dunn - found a role

Frawley - looks lost

Garland - gutsy, learning well

Green - quality and courage

Jamar - Not convinced at all

C. Johnson - most promising game yet

P. Johnson - really good target

Jones - will become more consistent

McDonald - solid as usual

McLean - hopefully learnt from kirk

Miller - a real team man

Sylvia - goes missing

Warnock - potential, needs a mentor

Wheatley - missed too many targets

Whelan - on the comeback

White - solid, but lacking round the ground

Wonaeamirri- rookie list gun

Besides the obvious negatives i thought there was some genuine positives out of the game.

- Garland to me looks like he will be around for quite a while. read the game really well and with some weight and experience will develop well

-Warnock, although well beaten i thought he looked ok, should be given next 12months in this position and needs to be educated on positioning

With Rivers these should be our defensive talls for nest 5years+

On the mark again Joeboy other than White in my humble opinion.

Did not make the game this week, but here are my TV ratings:

Bartram - 4.5

Bate - 7.5

Bode - 2

Bruce- 7

Davey - 6

Dunn - 7.5

Frawley - 3

Garland - 7

Green - 8

Jamar - 3

C. Johnson - 7

P. Johnson - 6.5

Jones - 6

McDonald - 6

McLean - 6.5

Miller - 6.5

Sylvia - 3

Warnock - 5

Wheatley - 7

Whelan - 4

White - 3

Wonaeamirri - 5

I thought Davey was ok... And isn't it funny that Woneamirri still gets 1,2 or 3 goals a game and yet has had little influence as of late! If we could deliver the ball to him a bit better ALA Brad Green yesterday he would have 5 or 6 every week, he's got a good enough kick on him I reckon :)

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
