Thankyou, Now that makes sense, and I can see the real issue.. Yes, if I knew I was gunna be taken this literally, I would have come up with some better examples.. I was just sitting here, and thought, who can we trade, and what do we need.. You are wrong with 1 thing though, I know other clubs lists, i know our lists, but I can see why ppl may think thats false.. i suppose I should of just left out the examples or studied it properly!! ie: Sylvia could be traded to Adelaide, but yes tippett would not be the player we could realistically receive.. perhaps someone more of the Vince ilk, but thats not what we need, so i just added Tippett to demonstate what we need.. To get someone like Prismall, we would need to give Bruce plus a decent younger player around the 20-23 age, but we dont really have any1 to suit a fair deal, it would either be too good for them, or not good enough.. Bruce to Hawthorn for someone like Morton or Kennedy is more likely, and makes more sense.. in essence, I see where MOSt of u are coming from, Thus: We need to use our trades wisely, I would consider trading: Bruce, Green, Rivers, Petterd, Bell etc for players of Pace, A forward presence and/or good disposal.. IE: players like: Sherman, Stewart, Tippet, Prismall and so on.. But as I know all too well, striking a deal, no matter how good it looks is very hard!! VERY hard!!

Again, I AGREE WITH YOU!!! Petterd MAY want to go back to QLD, Sherman is the TYPE we need, thus = it COULD work Please refer to my last post above, its not meant to be taken so literally!! IMO real opinion, yes these trades would bever happen, they need fine tuning, ie: Petterd to Bris for Sherman, However, I do think 1 or 2 of them ae more than fair! Warnock, would really only command a 3rd rounder, take or leave carroll, Bell for Stewart is also quite fair.. and u must remember, u need to give 2 receive!

great work!! Was just thinking this the other day.. I remember Neale talking about it at the pre-season meeting a few years ago.. Our list has great potential in regards to age and games played, especially as you mentioned come next year.. The only other thing is alot of those players are too similiar in my view, where Geelong had a better spread of types.. Its a real interesting topic though, thanx 4 posting the info!!

Just for arguments sake, these players I think will be delisted: Jace Bode, Chris Johnson, Mark Jamar, Matthew Whelan, Adem Yze, Ben Holland, Isaac Weetra.. Will go close if not traded: Newton, Carroll, Miller, Buckley...

Ok, Its surely now completely obvious what our team needs.. We need a strong presence up forward, a finisher and someone in the midfield that can really break the lines, thus really enabling Bailey's run & gun game plan.. We also need a big, strong ruckman, as White will be gone soom, and certainly is no shadow of his former self, Johnson is seen as more a forward prospect, Jamar just does not do enough, and Meeson is still really learning.. The success of the bulldogs trades of recent times have made alot of clubs realise (finally) that trade week is a great way to address real areas of concern. Especially now, with the 2 new teams & subsequent draft concessions, trades will be more previlant and more vital than ever. Here are some trades that I think can work, for us, whilst being realistic for the other clubs as well.. Please bare in mind, I not considering players who will most likely be de-listed, as no other clubs would be interested.. SOME BETTER THOUGHT OUT ONES!! JUST SO U ALL BETTER SEE MY POINT, mainly for the narrow minded! 1) Send Colin Sylvia to Adelaide for Luke Jericho 2) Trade Ricky Petterd to Port Adelaide for Paul Stewart Petterd is a talent, which is whats needed to gain a key forward! 3) Brad Miller & late pick to Brisbane in exchange for Justin Sherman 4) Jamar & 3rd round pick to Fremantle for Robert Warnock 5) Brad Green, mid pick to Hawthorn for Tim Boyle Green would really thrive at a place like Hawthorn..for 4-5 years! 6) Cameron Bruce & 3rd round pick to saints for Justin Koscitschke Still wouldnt be taken by saints, as they over rate Kossi, but imo COULD work 4 both teams Other targets should be: Matt Rosa, Daniel Kerr, Jarryd + Mitch Morton, Mitch Thorp, David HAle, David Armitage, Matt Priddis, Drew Petrie, Farren Ray, David Mundy, Travis Boak, Kris Barlow.. These trade are to be treated as IDEAS, a broader concept.. and SINGULAR, i dont mean they should all actually happen, nor do I even suggest they will.. We need a target down forward, and an injection of pace!!

John Meeson is a raw footballer, He has good size, grat engine, and is rated by many in the footy world.. He has had a lot of injury niggles this year, but I expect him to play his MFC debut very soon, as White's back-up, especially now that PJ will play as a permanent forward, which is what he was always meant to be.. Jamar and Meeson will compete for this role, but IMO Meeson could have alot to offer, just needs to get his body right, he was good pre season, and alot of people expect big things.. Just play it slow.. he'll get his chance shortly, dont dismiss the guy half way through his 1st year, id be worries about guys who have been here 3 or 4, and still show nothing!! theres plenty of em'..

I think its a great move that we will be aligned with Casey as of next year.. Now we really will feel like we have a home, we cannot underestimate how important this is for us.. For those who dont know Judd was nearly a demon until he was shown our "facilities" then he went running!!! Lets hope this is the start of our ressurection.. GET PUMPED PEOPLE!!!
