2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Agree. Dean's have the fitness base. But, Yze has already flagged that mix of Salem, Rivers, Sparrow, Kos, Harmes, Spargo, Baker & Jackson will play midfield mix roles if they can get their burst fitness to where it needs to be. So if Chrisrian can get mid-time but pure outside not inside or centre bounce likesbeen tried prev and does what's needed he def could have impact especially i50 delivery & composite. The club genuinely feels we have betteroptions than Phillips/Polec and that's largely.based on Yze and his views based on ext opinion and reviewing of players done via research so far.

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yeah can’t see Berry or Allison being selected but it’s still a great mock draft in terms of info and listing top talent. The Berry appeal is his disposal and would give a POD to current mid group in year or 2. Jordon and Sparrow still doing though though and they both look good to me so I think an electric tall mid-wing-fwd will be what we target but who knows.. ie if a kid like Zach Reid or Chapman are available at 18/19 it won’t matter who we have already we will take them. Cook is far more likely than Berry if available if not We have plenty of great options and there is no doubt in this crop a few Can Brice Nat Fyfe James Hird hidden gems about.. so glad we traded into this draft it could be a real winner if we get some luck!!! NOTE: After missing on Georgiadis I wouldn’t at ALL be surprised if Kaine Baldwin comes into calculations.. His talent is immense and the risk/reward might just be worth it with pick 19/28 which is really 24/36ish)

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
This is excellent viewing guys, like the selections but still can’t see Berry being our pick with 18. Maybe 19/28 for sure but I think there are 1-2 ahead of him but he def has loads of talent and uses the ball in manner none of our current mids can (apart form Gus and Trac at times).

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Interesting... can’t see it with Berry being inside mid, but if we do keep both picks and 28 he def is talented enough to go there. But I’d be more akin to players like Connor Donnie, Archie Perkins, Macrae (I think we may move up little further to secure him personally, unless mail Is that he will be around at 18 which is possible but with his exquisite foot skills maybe not) O’Driscoll is another I thinks a big chance to be in red and blue, good user and decision maker, line breaking speed AND can go inside as well as outside contest. Others I believe in frame are Archie Perkins who’s got a massive ceiling but is raw & could go anywhere from 7-37. Carroll is def on the radar for sure, Bailey Laurie another id be keeping eye on, a Smokey for 28 I think he can potentially fall that far if we are lucky. B.Cook is another who uses ball well and could be a wing or insider, even flanker. Poulter I like a lot and can see that one being a potential pick but one I’d have ahead of him is a JT Smokey unnamed at this stage but let’s just say he’s not in top50 frame anywhere else at this stage.but he ready for it should he be selected with 28. Hopefully we get him with 50 but I’m hearing we won’t risk it. Zac Dumesny is also rated v highly by JT’s team , another one he’s said to taken a real shine to is Tariek Newchurch, whom oozes X factor dare dash and can play midfield minutes which is the dimension I think appeals, in similar vein to why Joel Western is also in consideration, sublime skills and a fed who could become a mid so expect a bid to come for him. Lastly, I can almost guarantee that if Henry Walsh is available with our last pick #50 (around 57-62) the Dees will jump on him. Talented Ruck (brother of Sam) who has more genuine ruck craft and tapwork than Jackson, so far more a genuine ruck where Jackson may end up more a mid-fwd, but Walsh is improving below knees & is a kid who could become a great ruck/fwd and would add some talent to our lean (bodied) ruck-stocks. So bids on Newchurch, Western and McInnes for sure and who knows we may be able to land one of them.

You're not supposed to care, I’m the one irked—not sure where I date that I also requested you to be? Perhaps you need to calm down a little, friend.

I’m not special and I love a varied opinion maybe I’m sounding a little more harsh than I intend for I’m as calm as can be.. however it is my opinion that negging posters that barrack for the club to fail shouldn’t be considered all-weather supporters that’s all.. but you’re now Your own argument by saying that I myself and not allowed to express my own individual to opinion which is perhaps a little confounding to try and decipher for me anyway. But there’s a fist amount of joviality in the specific post you are taking issue with. Even though you are 100% now acting in direct opponent to you’re clearly passionate opinion that we’re all inherently entitled to express our own opinion, as I have.

So I’m not saying I’m ‘better’ I’m saying your logic is flawed and that saying things just to say them is a waste of time and energy. You can say you think BB won’t impact or that your view is he won’t help us etc but that’s not what you said, you referenced the entire attempt as though it were misguided which is adversely against what the club is doing ie TRYING something, trying to fix a hole, what would you have them do? Sit on their hands? That’s not how premierships are won. So in my view barracking against the club is indeed a hangable offence. It’s poor form and it irks me greatly!!!

It’s more I suggest due to fact they know it’ll go through so thus only gets passing mention opposed to deals that are genuinely “at-risk”

It’s just a classic case of wanting to be a contrarian, that’s not debate it’s child-ish!!! If you think BB is less value than two picks in 30’s in compromised draft when scouting data is at an all-time low the You’re insane. Even in SPEC it’s a no brainer, ie what your asking to SEE is ridiculous based on what we are giving up. This a the EXACT issue with contrarians not fully understanding what they are saying. The return on what we’re giving up is FAR from BB needing to be a goal-kicking machine in a side playing finals, that’s just hogwash, champ! The mere potential ceiling even if never remotely reached outweighs the risk of the cost, so your logic doesn’t hold weight so waiting 12mths won’t suffice, that’s my point.

But a pick in 20’s or 2 in 30’s is going to help us get to the next level now or in 2yrs more than BB Is is it? Uneducated football opinions really annoy me and remind me why I rarely engage you ppl. go support someone else, you and your chook mate. Seriously.

It’s the rainy days that make us better appreciate the sunshine. A demon/Saints flag as a result will mean a [censored]-load more than a flag for anyone else, no matter when it comes or indeed if.. I love my club and refuse to be one f those red-seat flogs that’s always bagging our own players or shouting “kick the bloody thing”

Don’t care. I have a severe dislike for nay-sayers. Let’s go back 12mths and look at all the May haters. Anyone neggging on giving up 2nd rnd picks for a player like BB is merely asinine IMHO. 60 goals 3+ times and if Cameron kicks doesn’t kick a bag in R22 he’s a Coleman medalist and near 2 time Coleman medallist at that. Great player for us and will bring much joy. Royalty or not. Club is extremely well run these days and I for one am bloody excited about #50 in 2021

-
Rumour only file ...
I don't either.. If only ppl cogitated on what they read!!! Tom Mcdonald a demon = No hope

Rumour only file ...
Just telling you how it is, we’re still on the bord but as stated it’s 0% unless we find a TMAC suitor. pies have handled this horribly and it’s untenable that’s also fact, to say they are smart and have plan etc is a absolutely ludicrous & a touch obtuse
-
Rumour only file ...
Never mentioned pick 80 it’ll be whatever deal club he picks can conjure!!! don’t have to trade him??? Are you actually living in the same time as the rest of us?
-
Rumour only file ...
Both would be cheap as chips. Cox the fwd/ruc option & pies likely would pay 25% Varys OOC & would be dirt cheap ala Phillips
-
Rumour only file ...
You’re 100% wrong
-
Rumour only file ...
No fantasy — he has a say & media pushing dogs line at this stage cus it seems logical that’s the only link. May go there if they lose Dunkley but FAR from anything more than a 1/3 chance bud
-
Rumour only file ...
Pies won’t have a say once he picks a club, they’d have to accept a package given what’s gone on. They HAVE to trade him, simple!
