  1. I could not agree more.. Bj has had an average year, you cannot judge Bells game on that! Hes just not up to it, simple! no upside seen at all this year!
  2. Prved to me even more today, he serves no purpose, not one good bit of play, fumbly, indecisive, poor skills! Not 1 person can say that he did ANYTHING today to warrant his place! NExt week, out: Bell In: Petterd
  3. I know, but he was always going home, NO ONE was gonna stop him! Sylvia cannot play his career as a perm forward! he was a top 3 draft, drafteed to be a midfielder!! He is a traget there right now, but not forever! thats not gonna cut it! Its so frustraing, I love the guy, sooo much ability, Just seems lazy, have heard he is very lazy with the off ball stuff, I just really hope he can string it together, but its a lose lose if we keep him next year, and he fails again, because he will then have ZERO trade value, thats why its a tough decision, that needs to be made! Im 50/50 on the issue!
  4. we are MILES ahead of Essendon! Theya re stuck in that weird bracket of having young kids, mixed with too many older average players! Our average games played per player is the best in the comp.. They have a couple of good kids, but none even close to ours, they have far too amny similiar types, I really cant see them getting far with their list.. Average 27+ players like Peverill, Michael, Fletcher, Mcphee, Johnson, Ramanauskas.. mixed with average 23-25 yr olds like: Stanton, Johns, Dyson, Watson, Laycock, Winderlich.. Even their best kids dont look good enough for me: Daniher, Lonergan, Jetta, Gumbleton (injurie prone) etc.. Ryder, Reimers, Davey, Neagle looks ok.. but thats about all id want! We have: Wonaemirri, Garland, Jones, Mclean, Morton, petterd, Bate, Bartram, Valenti, Martin, Buckley, Warnock, Grimes, Maric, Dunn, Frawley and Sylvia all of whom Id take ahead of those bombers kids, except the few I mentioned.. Our 24-27 yr olds far better also! Moloney, Rivers, C Johnson, P Johnson, Davey, Green, Bruce, Miller.. Then, they have alot more older Players, Lucas, Lloyd, Michael, Fletcher, Johnson, Peverill.. They have ALOT of work to do.. AS you can see, we are Much better placed atm!
  5. He shows signs, but his application just does not seem to be there! He still would have some trade value, a top 20 Pick, or a decent player ie: Prismall, Boyle, Rosa, Warnock would be more than enough for me to send him packing, id take even less right now! Has the talent, but the only way I seem him achieving it is at another club!
  6. Did you even read what I said? I said his time is up, just wanted ppl to understand that he's had alot of hurdles over the years! Read my post again, you to Yze!
  7. 6 - Chris Johnson 5 - Colin Garland 4 - Lynden Dunn 3 - Simon Buckley 2 - Stefan Martin 1 - Brad Miller
  8. Youre all being too hard on JEff.. I know he is no longer up to it, but he would be getting a game most clubs, its actually HARDER for players of his age to get games at clubs that are rebuilding!! Jeff had a horrific, HORRIFIC shin injury, still has, was told he could never play again, he's had it operated on 14 times! incredible! His shins bled out constantly, he was in absolute agony every game, but he troopered on! It really struck him down in his prime! The new centre circle also played a HUGE role in his demise! Thanks for your service over hte years Jeff, and all the best, yes its time to move on, maybe another club who is in the premiership window and in need of a ruckman, but I doubt it! With Warnock looking like becoming a demon, its time.. But I for one can understand how much youve providede olur club with, and thanks all those highlights mate!
  9. Very well said mate, its very promising indeed!! Add in Rivers (if he ever gets his body right) plus a developing Frawley, and wow!!
  10. Totally agree! I can see why ppl dont want to, but ive said before, its just not in me 2 want us to lose, plus its the type of draft were 3rd alst is just as good for us, of course no1 is better, due to absolute freedom of choice, but I think were destined for 15th, which is Watts, eagles wont take him, freo may, but not likely, not with the huge amount of home grown talent up there, its smart to take a WA kid for them!! Ditto, we should take the victorian!
  11. Precisely!!! Must be done to see what weve got! talent, or lazy springbean!
  12. I hope so! Maybe 1 more week in the magoos, but might just get a call up!!
  13. He did it again today.. Hope he is right!!
  14. Cmon guys.. Did not get great supply today.. Had a bit of a crack, lets see him at the G when we get it in a bit better.. Play him the next 5, then decide!! thats fair!
  15. Trading Syliva to get Prismall would be great, Dunno bout the cats doing that though!
  16. It was neither, just saying he should never play again, mr awkward he is! Morton was good IMO, im not worried about the fumbles...yet.. Cale moves really well! youngest player out there, has alot of upside! be patient!please!
  17. No, he was ok, didnt get great supply! Col was dissapointing, shame he couldnt follow up from last week, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as he had the best stopper in the game on him, in Morris!! Bartram was average for me, I actually thought Garland was better than u say.. Martin was the big Positive 2day! Also Buckley, youre harsh on him, I thought his best game, showed alot IMO!
  18. I was again rapt with some of the performances today.. Simon Buckley was excellent, showed some really good signs! Martin was sensational, looked the part, this kid is a real BIG talent! with composure! Morton played a good second half, and again looks 2-3cm taller!! Valenti is getting better all the time! Garland is Garland... Dunn took another scalp! CJ is really coming into his own, wow, was great! Bell was Bell, thanks 4 coming! Newton, well, hard to say, had a bit of a crack, needs alot more games.. But overall, alot of positives!! Especially Martin and Buckley.. Ive never EVER seen us have so many quality kids, its genuinely exciting! Its not far away guys, not at all!
  19. hence why I put the word BUT next to it! Dont like doing it, BUT im gonna do it now!
  20. I wasnt being sarcastic, im showing my enthusiasm, im not saying "i definately know that he is the steal of the 07 draft, its a fact" omg! Its a comment, aimed at displaying my excitement of the kid, noting that at pick 14 he could provide us with excellent value, especially since alot of clubs think he was top 5 b4 injury! ok?
  21. OMG! Cant anyone say anything on this place without being taken so literally! Jesus!
  22. I said I was sorry for being harsh, its just he is one of those players who makes me think of skill errors, bad decisions and a total lack of accountablity! As far as your lil speech goes, everyone has a player that makes them feel this way at one time or another, and dont you question my integrity mate, ive been a member for 21 years, I watch every game at least once, I go and watch the team train monthly, also get 2 a few sandy games! im aloud my opinion, that is the point of message boards! I hope he does well, but im portraying MY OPINION of him, which is my absolute right! So back up on your liberal speeches of empathy! Dinga is an AFL footballer getting paid excellent money, football clubs also do not always make decisions that there supporters agree with, seriously, do u honestly agree with your own statement? if so, my congratulations, but I cant go through supporting a club wearing a blindfold and being totally cohesive to absolutely everything they do, because thats a dangerous occupation, if we all did that, it would be detrimental to the game! Its footy! His speed is irrelevant, anyone can run fast in a straight line, doing it in a game of footy is a toally differant ball game all together, I take it you didnt play much? I know im going off on a tangent, but im passionate about my footy, and i am certainly not going to apologise for that! I dont like personal attacks, but I am not gonna sit quietly while some pacifist hippie challenges my integrity! Cheers..
  23. You know, I actually agree with you.. I more did it for Illustrative purposes.. as in, id love him at the club.. but id also want to keep the pick! However, it'd be a tough decision if it was offered, no?
  24. Right now, I could not be more happy with our choice! Dean "Yoda" Bailey has our club buzzing!! Im really really pumped! more so than EVER!! Maybe equal with 94, when the ox was gunna be...oooh it still hurts!!
  25. Who should be our top recruiting target?? Bear in mind what we would have to give up, ie: more 4 prismall than Rosa..
