  1. Good to see everyone is still awake. How can you sleep after what transpired tonight? My 10yr old daughter almost vomited from nerves at the end. I told her to get in line. After watching the game again, Jetta and especially Bernie were massive in the last quarter down back. Those two just clock on and clock off.
  2. SO THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN DOVES CRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This group is SPECIAL!!!!!
  3. An earlier post mentioned Priddis might not come up. Him alone does not warrant such a fluctuation in the odds. Masten is more than a capable mid as a replacement. If Darling was the one then I could understand the plunge.
  4. Equal favourites now on Luxbet. $1.92 each of two.
  5. Into $2.00 now and the line $1.75 at +5.5 on Tab. Is there a possibility we start as favourite at the bounce?
  6. WTF was that? The silly season has come early!
  7. There's not much more we can say about Nathan Jones except that his leadership should never be questioned again! His dream is our dream!
  8. Lifetime of Nippys Iced Chocolate also, just to sweeten the deal.
  9. Not sure what the grading was but Scott went as far to say on 360, there is a difference between intentionally throwing an elbow to the back of the head and tripping over a players legs and bracing for the fall as the latter was the case for Selwood. Laughable!!!
  10. If Watts and Hibberd are fine to play Saturday, who do you omit for Gawn? Gawn for Jones should be the only change, the formula is working at the moment.
  11. The singing of the song was a beautiful touch on a superb day!!! Well done Demon fans!!
  12. Well said, plenty of noise coming from us today. Nothing wrong with the crowd, historically these two teams don't draw well anywhere.
  13. I haven't recovered from last Monday yet, can't handle another heart stopper.
  14. Can someone man up on Grigg please? Soft as butter he is, yet teams let him run out on his own every game. Even Richmond's blind kicks find him.
  15. Not certain if this has been pointed out already but I have lost count on the amount of times I have seen the Watts goal. The vision of it with the K-Rock commentary is as good if not better than the 3aw version. Surely we can watch it a few more times before our attention turns to the team selection soon.
  16. The 22 that played against the Pies seem the best 22 to handle the tough schedule over the next 3 weeks as they are the more conditioned of our players to handle the task. We can debate which players from Casey deserve a call up but this seems the logical way to go. Watching Jones sprint from half back to become an option for Watts in that classic goal shows me there's plenty of run in our legs. This is the most settled we have been all year. In 3 weeks they will probably be exhausted but Jesse and Max should be cherry ripe by then.
  17. The lead up to " Oscar-Elliot" was "the debutant in Moore, to Adams." One of the best passages of the season and we have to listen to that. I'm with you Pates, not a fan either!
  18. The only thing I can see is right after Trac kicks the goal from receiveing a 50 in the 3rd Watts walks over to high 5 him and you can clearly see him saying something or showing a cheeky smile towards their cheer squad. Love it!!!
  19. I thought Oscar was important in the first half when we were under pressure, he had 11 contested from his 18 possessions and went at 83% for the day. Good to see the faithful cheer loudly when he took that great mark in the last, that can only be a confidence boost for the kid. Well played Oscar!!
  20. To quote the Collingwood fan sitting in M7, Row 3, 3rd seat in from the aisle on the quarter time siren after Dunn gave away a free to T.Mac. " The bloody AFL has been giving this club handouts for the last 20 years. I can't believe that these people come to the games and follow this team." Well fella, it's moments like today why we come to the football. We are as passionate as the bloke next door, it's an escape from the real world and we live in the moment. Yes, you have seen your team win a grand final, most of us have not but we will continue to scream, cheer and hug the stranger sitting next to us and maybe our day will come. The noise in the last quarter was simply incredible, it's been a long time since I heard that much noise from us. Take a bow Melbourne fans, you willed your team over the line today. I'm still out of breath and my heart hasn't slowed one bit since leaving the ground. Well done Dees!!!!
