  1. I thought so too. He was in our top 4 players in the first half when everything wasn’t looking rosy.
  2. Was hoping we can have the joy of a win tonight and an extended squad announcement tomorrow night. Guessing the latter won’t be the case.
  3. 6. Oliver 5. Viney 4. May 3. Petracca 2. Jackson 1. Weid
  4. Noticed Gus running a lot with Crouch in the first half. Was he tagging him hence not many touches? Great second half by Gus
  5. I’m Sorry Ms Jackson, Fritta’s for real
  6. Great work rate Weid. Made sure he spoiled to ground then ran hard back the other way and rewarded himself with a goal.
  7. Salem must think his leg will break if he kicks further than 20m. FFS
  8. I wasn’t sure how I felt about this game but after reading this I’m inclined to agree. It is what it is. Not sure how much heat the Crows have been under in SA, they will be desperate to get their first win and make it very difficult for us. You can only beat what’s in front of you, to some a win might be papering over the cracks and that may well be true but I’d rather look at it as season alive in this testing year. A loss well....we’ll have plenty of time to digest it post game.
  9. Don’t mind these staggered announcements on the changes. We might have the complete puzzle before the official time. Keep the mail coming. So far - IN - AVB, ANB possibly OUT - T Mac , Kozzie
  10. Ridiculous pressure by Port after looking like they were on heavy legs.
  11. For some sick reason I only wanted us to kick one goal for the game and rename the video ‘The Goal’ The sequel to ‘Hell & Back’
  12. @Cards13 the new NHL playoff format is up and running . Good luck to your Avs, hope you smash the Blues. Nice waking up to a Blackhawks win this morning. Playoff hockey won’t be the same without crowds but at least it’s another interest in this difficult year. @Macca any tips ?
  13. Hmmm, since there’s been a couple of anniversary threads lately rewind back to our R10 2007 game against Crows and the team sitting at 0-9 got its first win of the season. Giving myself nightmares already.
  14. Probably not too early to resume transmission here. A watch for tomorrow . Valley R3 No1. ABN. The fellas at work are pleased with her work leading into her return. Decent each way odds. A lot of speed on her inside is a bit of a worry but hopefully she shows the class we saw early in her first prep.
  15. Would struggle to tie his own shoe laces on last night’s showing. Very worrying.
  16. Going by some of the aerial shots in the first quarter it was evident Port did some really good homework on us during the short break. They set up really well behind the ball and we had no idea how to counter it. Made even easier by our predictable movement from the back. Their work rate to cover both sides of the ground from our exits was exceptional and it looked like none of our players wanted to take responsibility or risks to try an open up the game. The few times we managed to break it open our skills were woeful and the ball was bouncing back in a hurry. Some of our shocking decision making and skill execution had to be seen to be believed. We might have trained specifically for these shorter breaks EPL style but we were made to look like Norwich City. Very disappointing.
  17. Look at them still smashing our bodies. Insulting on so many fronts.
  18. The most confident play we have seen all night, May casually walking to retrieve the ball knowing he touched it before the review.
  19. Seriously looks like Port are setting up with 40 players across the ground. Out of ideas at the moment we are.
  20. The Dumb[censored] continues.
  21. Was thinking exactly the same Luci until I read on. It was mooted that the clash would take place in Queensland, where both teams will be, but instead the Roos and Dees will travel to Adelaide on the morning of the game.
  22. Was just a reading an article and came across this DD. I can’t attach links for some reason, here’s an extract. ROOS, DEES SET FOR VENUE SWITCH _ Tom Morris reports..._ North Melbourne’s Round 11 game against Melbourne will now be played at the Adelaide Oval. Foxfooty.com.au understands the Sunday evening timeslot on August 9 will remain as planned.
  23. Good stuff. Blended in nicely, he’s only missed two games since his debut.
  24. I’m guessing they count those that fall short and OOB titan. For example, there was a snap at goal by them to the left of screen and the ball shanked backwards about 30 metres and landed to an unmarked Robinson. We had 17 shots at goal according to the stats.
