G’day fellas. Lockdown viewing is back. I’m liking Hamlet Von Snitzel (6) Race 4 Doomben today at $5.50. Won its two trials impressively without blinkers on, on debut a few weeks ago they chose to run it with blinkers and ran a solid third by 0.8 lengths. Blinkers are off today and hopefully it has learnt a thing or two since debut.

Yes, haven’t seen a live win for nearly two years, not that we are a certainty but still. Glad at least some supporters got to witness a live win last season. I’ve missed going to the footy and having a couple of beers with my footy mate.

Not sure if T Mac on the wing will work or not, but maybe trying him on the wing has to do with endurance. He looks a lot leaner. Heard on radio with less rotations this season you will need blokes on the wings that can run all day and it’s one position you might have to leave out there longer.

Far out, just when you start getting excited for the start of the season, something like this pops up and brings the mood back down. Persistent swelling throughout preseason? Work your magic Doc Feller.

I thought seeing Jack in one of the training clips today doing the rope exercise in the gym a couple of days after surgery was a positive in terms of a quick recovery. That’s the way I’ll look at it until otherwise.

Oh no....Casey the new Goschs. Wishing him a speedy recovery, we’re a better team with Jack in it.

Thanks for the report Hunt29. Reports earlier in the week had Petty completing a full session but Cleary’s update had him missing yesterday (groin).Hoping you did see him yesterday, a bit of a concern if the groin issues are lingering and stalling his progress.
