  1. 6. Gawn 5. Jones 4. Evans 3. Byrnes 2. Howe 1. Grimes
  2. If there was a stat for panicking with the ball or pulling out of contests you might actually take notice. He did not want to be there today, at one point every time he got near the ball GWS seemed to score. Woefully bad today.
  3. It really is a strange thing. Within a few minutes players go from being flat-footed to diving in to get the ball. From jogging and watching to spreading and shepherding. From fumbling to holding marks. From standing still in waving their arms to working and running into space. The problem is a lot of these things shouldn't require confidence, they should be instinct and all part of playing in the AFL. I just hope the players can see the difference, that playing well is about doing the little things right and not just the spectacular.
  4. I saw Clark walking around, no moon boot so could be OK.
  5. Yes, the first three quarters were terrible and there are massive problems still, but these players can play if they work hard, smart and with confidence.
  6. Anyone who doesn't give Gawn six votes must be high.
  7. Gawn is killing it, on and off the ball. Most influential for mine.
  8. I actually think more good will come of Melbourne losing.
  9. Lollin Garland strikes again.
  10. Everything Watts touches turns to rubbish. He doesn't want to be here.
  11. It's a pretty big coincidence that every player that comes through Melbourne seems to be dumb and slow.
  12. Trengove is even slower than usual. He just doesn't or cannot sprint.
  13. I've been watching Scully closely and for all his limitations he runs, and runs hard.
  14. The gap between Mebourne and the top sides is bigger than the gap between AFL and VFL.
  15. It's not a case of not playing for the coach, they aren't playing for the fans, their teammates or themselves.
  16. Watts is beyond inexcusable.
  17. How many Melbourne players want to slip over?
  18. Slow feet, slow hands and slow minds.
  19. Watts had an opportunity to attack a loose ball, I'll let you work out what happened.
  20. It was a joke, settle petal.
  21. The Essendon ruckman was four feet tall?
