I agree, the penny has seems to have dropped with him and he isn't just going with the flow.
What annoys me at the moment is that Melbourne players (try to) kick to where the player is, not where he will be. They just it more difficult for themselves trying to thread needles constantly.

As a team Melbourne are putrid. That's the problem, they don't run to space, shepherd or work for each other in general. A lot of the problems have nothing to do with talent, it's all in between the ears. We crave a "star" player or two but even they wouldn't have an impact this group of players that play nothing like a team.
You're right but neither are Selwood, Hayes, Mitchell, Sewell and Kennedy but there is some explosiveness to how they play.
Trengove doesn't need to be quick, the problem is he is now beyond slow and the limitation is so great he is now next to useless.
