Straight Sets Simon replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Why was Jetta subbed-out? I thought he was good and was actually putting his body on the line. -

People in the crowd were actually laughing at him as he just wandered around. -

Frawley's marking efforts were terrible. All night he just tried to push his opponent under the ball and then mark the ball at waist height. I liked the idea of throwing him forward but I think he needs to go back again. -

Better than Spencer. -
That period where Sydney got two holding the ball decisions which were rubbish (especially the Viney ones) was ridiculous. They were then forced to pay Melbourne a soft holding the ball just to keep things even.

I thought this thread was about the Melbourne game.

Enjoy this moment, Salem is yet to be Melbourneised.
-
Jetta unlucky, I thought he looked good.
-
Frawley has no idea how to take a contested mark.
-
Howe, Watts and Frawley all been pathetic.
-
He needs to wake up, harden up and care.
-
There will be a massive Bronx cheers if Watts is subbed, didn't he get upset last time that happened?
-
Pedersen is the perfect example of a limited player playing well because he is running, running and then running again. Rocket surgery it ain't.
-
I'm iust waiting for the people watching on TV to defend him.
-
People in the crowd are actually laughing at Watts for how he just floats around doing nothing.
-
Pedersen is the only player running.
-
Sydney runner is blocking space!
-
Good point!
-
Sydney supporters love wearing their caps at night, least knowledgable supporters going around too.
-
I'm not feeling confident at all, Swans by 50+.

I think there is a difference between "game plan" and "non-negotiables". No matter the payers you have certain non-negotiables which don't change but your overall plan should evolve to best suit your list.
