If a team loses by more than 40 points it should take ridiculous effort from losing side player (six goals plus or 40 possessions and two goals) to even get a look in at votes.

I didn’t watch a second of it but saw that Lachie Neale got one vote in the round 23 game where we smashed the Lions. Both Fritsch and Pickett kicked four goals and neither got a vote. That sums up how poor the voting is.

He was good in this role this year, got him involved in the game.

I hope we never see JVR in the VFL again, he’s pure class. With Jackson now Gawn, Weideman could have a chance as a permanent second ruck.

A team full of AFL players losing to plumbers and electricians is not good.

Late to the party but I just saw that Berry got off for eye gauging. Holy hell the AFL aren’t even pretending to not be corrupt any more.

Quite possibly the least interesting two teams we could have. It’s frustrating because if Melbourne were still in it I could see us easily getting out to a 30 point lead and then choking against either of these two teams.
