Any idea how many times we were in the lead by say 25 points (could be multiple times during a game) but actually extended that lead by the end of the game? Does that even make sense?

I can’t believe how poorly he played this year. The worst part is he cut the guts out of his trade value.

During the season I called out that we didn’t use enough players and the nuffies here said “well it worked in 2021”. The result we saw this year was a team of burnt out players, not a surprise at all. And this was with a relatively healthy list. Our forward line in the past month would have looked far more dynamic with the likes of JVR and Joel Smith (the hill I will die on) instead of Brown, ANB, Spargo and Melksham.

All of our losses have come through choking leads this year. Even in games we won we rarely put the foot down and actually went on with it, we always left the door ajar for opposition teams.

Failure of a season. Every single loss was the same where we get out to a lead of around 20 to 30 points and then get complacent and stop trying to win. No imagination with team selection or style. Half the team in on reputation while Casey had an all-time great saeason.

All year I’ve pointed this out and all year our coaches have done nothing to improve this or mix things up. The “no change” was the final straw and I knew we would lose when I saw this. Absoloute failure of a season to go from 10-0 and out in straight sets.

Game over, we are cooked. The game was there to be won in the first quarter but we got sloppy and complacent. This is literally the same as every loss we have had this season. Nothing has been addressed or learned.
