  1. The miserable bugger blocked comments, had to do something
  2. The 3 who look like they have worked 'extra' hard over the break Joel Smith, Harry Petty and Weid It was good to see they could make today a craft day, no extra running required although as mentioned Preuss, Frost and Keilty did a bit extra at the end
  3. As I said Preuss has impressed me, can see why we chased him Just looks a big footy player does everything with minimum of fuss, agility is good He, Frost and Dec Keilty did another 20 minutes of work when everybody else finished Said to Greg Stafford after session had finished that I was looking forward to seeing him and Gawn going against each other Answer 'so am I'
  4. Toby Bedford, as per the Indigenous forward made the difficult shot on goal look simple Bradtke had his first session with greg Stafford and Preuss
  5. No photo I'd never heard of her, must watch different movies??? Today was craft day Preuss impresses me already, strange kicking style but for big bloke did not miss or fluff one kick You can post the pics as i put them on Insta, some action pics of new kiddies
  6. It is, considering that is Weid next to him, not a bad size
  7. He did rate Flip, but I watched all training all year, neither he nor King seemed to progress, already I can see Bradtke doing something, been working with his Dad, who also worked with Max last year on agility in a crowd Goodwin is a great believer in versatility, T Smith, Keilty, Weid, Frost, Tommy Mac can all relieve in the ruck should that be necessary Tommy Mac actually enjoys the rucking coz he can lose his opposite number around the ground with his aerobic capacity I am waiting for after Xmas with what we do with Keilty, he will have it in front of him trying to break into back 6, he is an accurate goalkicker and good mark, try him up forward? Seems a waste of a rookie spot if he spends the year in a key defender post at Casey Thoughts @Drunkn167
  8. Totally agree , pisses them off mightily as well, Jeff knows exactly why he was dropped and why he couldn't force his way back in, form Already done a power of work this pre season, he knows he has to
  9. The first day is usually a dog's breakfast, ie a walk, a jog, maybe a kick and handball , a [censored] and a look around, last year Spargo et al didn't appear until near the end of the session Unfortunately work calls tomorrow morning but will grab a heap in next couple of weeks Hunt is like the rest, 22 spots up for grabs Rd1, up to him to make Goodwin give him one
  10. Everybody is supposedly due back next Monday, 3rd December
  11. At training when he goes on one of those runs he is being 'encouraged loudly' to lower the eyes, think during a game the youthful exuberance got to him and he bombed away, still young in both games and age Had a good chat to him yesterday, disappointed in his year to forget last year, just working away getting the miles into the legs, as explained before Goodwin starts each season with a blank sheet, there are a couple of wing spots available so Hunty aiming for that On that note there was a new young looking guy doing the fitness work, looked and built like a middle distance runner, exactly what he is, spent the session pacing Hunt around the laps, leaves Crossy to work on other things
  12. No Fritsch still looks like a stick, Petracca looks ripped, reckon he has been hiiting the weights, I asked the comedian and he said rehabbing from everything They are all just training as a group, lines normally appear post Xmas when everybody has settled in
  13. I bumped this up whilst you are all feeling warm and fuzzy about the draft, donate to Lord Nev, link in 1st post he is going to auction one of his jumpers, stay tuned
  14. Just to let you know Lord Nev is itching to work with Toby already, enough of a recommendation for me
  15. An example of mindset Corey Maynard had operation on both hips last season, obviously put a lot of work in rehab was cruising alongside Petty and Spargo in running drills
  16. The pics are a bit weather blurry
  17. No the penny has dropped, we have players returning in top nick, still doing the ks but footy out as well
  18. Nah, he is fit, getting through the sessions without any issues, still going in the running at the end After the Gold Coast, may be just below the standard of MFC, KK found the going a bit tougher today as well, need a game at Casey in middle of July obviously
  19. Apart from the weather, it was a really good solid session again, went for over hour and half Got a closer look at skills in wet, apart from some dropped ball because it was wet for first time, skills were good Guy Walker the new B class rookie didn't look out of place, neat and tidy skills Austin Bradtke looks ok as well, moves like a basketballer, skills ok, can kick Joked with Steven May at the end about the weather, he looked frozen, even after all the work Jayden Hunt is right on track to be ready fro Rd 1, he said, like others, no contact so just lap after lap of running until after Xmas Jake Lever was out pounding around the fence, 9 and 1/2 K of running today No Jones Salem and JKH off around the tan again after 3/4 of session 3rd day in and quick ball movement drill on again Any questions feel free, will post some pics on Insta and here later
  20. And what a beautiful morning at Goschs, first up Nev Jetta has asked for everybody to get on board his Movember, so if you feel like donating https://au.movember.com/mospace/166701
  21. Gee started a topic and the conversation regressed 40 years, must be an age thing Bringing it right back up to date, even though we now have a glut of key defenders, watch for Harry Petty, my early tip
  22. Nah just on afternoon shift this week, Friday is a go as well
  23. Hunt was the only rehabber, no sign of Lever No Salem, JKH, Omac or Viney from Monday Jones was there, of course, he was doing repeat runs in the middle of the oval, like watching a machine, no change of style, speed etc from start to finish An interesting observation, the repeat running they do is timed, they have to try and maintain same time or thereabouts for each run, Preuss told one of the fitness guys he hadn't done timed runs before and didn't know how to pace himself
