  1. No haven't seen him for a while, got nothing when I asked, Viney was missing as well
  2. I was joking with him a couple of weeks ago, he reckons he has spaghetti arms anyway, seems to have put on a bit of muscle, has been doing a bit of upper body work though, we all forget he still only 22, don't think he will ever be May's size though
  3. Assume you meant Harry, obviously exit interview said the opportunity is there if you want to take it, has looked switched on from 1st session
  4. Majority of rehab group were out for 2hrs as well, Gus lifted the speed of his lap running, was working to a plan, kept checking in with fitness staff, was just running in shorts and gps bra, low socks, no strapping anywhere, so again, mystery deepens, didn't seem hampered at all Have a work shift this afternoon, wil post pic tonight
  5. Just did everything to an excellent level, got praised out loud by coaches at least 4 times Him and Weid seemed to have done a heap of extra work, think he was paired with Weid for a reason, like Billy Stretch, Weid is fastidious with his preparation
  6. Sorry, was too busy eating my egg and bacon roll, KK was second, Joel Smith and Tommy Mac thereabouts
  7. A detailed report They ran They kicked They marked They handballed A 2k time trial followed by 2hrs of craft Standout today was again Harry Petty
  8. I tried asking a few re Brayshaw, got absolutely nothing so left it No not really, I thought it was an amusing line They started the day with a Nibbler won 2k time trial at 8.30
  9. Actually I'll end by saying, prefer to go with what the players and fitness staff are telling me, do get some absolute [censored] from some players but there are others I trust to give me a straight answer to a simple question, so as I have said would be surprised, barring any mishaps between now and then, to see only 2 or 3 still in rehab post Xmas
  10. Sorry expert but I asked, interrupted pre season is where they are off legs and it impacts their fitness base The craft sessions etc are there to refine their skills, if we have 2nd and above year players who can't handball, kick or don't understand the game plan, then you need to ask why they are still on the list Most in the rehab wiil rejoin after Xmas with theif fitness base intact, which is the main aim of the preseason, to get miles into legs. Hence why James Harmes was worked over in the running last Friday to the point of dry retching and telling me that was the hardest running session he had done at the club, so not interrupted? Of course you wouldnt have seen that as you are safely sniping from a distance
  11. No actually get my information and opinion on how they are going from the players and the fitness staff, although I keep some of the information to myself, so mine was an opinion similar to yours I was saying with them not being 1st year players they have a fitness base On you valuing my reporting, as if I care bloke
  12. That's because he is from Geelong area, used to make the trek rather than moving to Melbourne When he was delisted I asked him what's next said he might try the punting Remember watching him trying to kick an American footy, obviously bought one, come a long way On a side note reckon if Sam Frost's career stalls, he should give it a go, maybe as more than a punter
  13. It's not interrupted, most are running, it is just contact and match sim they are missing, they are all doing a bit of craft work Crossy and the rest have rehab down pat now, as per Viney last year Is it not 1st year players either, most have had a couple of pre seasons under their belt, expect most to be ready to go post Xmas Maybe only Lever and Tim Smith (foot injury) the only 2 delayed
  14. I was pleasantly surprised to watch a session where every player did not look like slacking off despite the heat Fritsch has definitely worked on his aerobic fitness over the break
  15. I have been at work will post some more pics on Insta and here later Impressively hot today Spargo was impressive as well? Jordan Lewis comment 'brutal' Sam Frost comment '@#$&%'?? James Harmes had a pretty impressive dry retching effort at the end of a gut busting rehab running session, worked his [censored] off
  16. He was out of form and finding it difficult to get some consistency, the ever changing forward line at Casey didn't help, Spargo performing as he did was another reason. He is still regarded as a 'best 22' as you like to put it, I asked, just needs a full pre season and to show it on the field, like every player, listen to what Lewis said If he doesn't crack it into the team it will mean the player in 'his spot' will be flying, which will only benefit the team
