WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY KENNEDY-HARRIS
Satyriconhome replied to btdemon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Listen to both Roos and Taylor, JKT will take time, like Barry, he may make an appearance next year, and if he does that means he will have earnt it, but I would be very surprised if we see him early -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAYDEN HUNT
Satyriconhome replied to a topic in Melbourne Demons
...don't know, bit late now though wouldn't you think, if somebody hasn't got a life they may want to hunt down the vision on 10 or so players today and out guess professional recruiters -
Neeld made a lot of mistakes, but this wasn't one of them

I logged on to reply to a post and it has gone? Anyway I am going from memory seeing Dawes play VFL, not research For a guy who weighs in at over 100K his knee has got him pounding around for 80 odd games -

He didn't miss all of his first year, I remember watching him play in the VFL, he was out for 2007, don't think he had it reco'd, probably what Kent has now, an injury that won't settle down, anyway, told me he has had an op, coz they found a problem, and it is fixed now, had been for a bike ride when I saw him, nice bike as well and his, so it doesn't hinder that...don't think the hyperextension he got at Collingwood did his knee any favours....perhaps whatever the issue with the knee was, was being masked, now it isn't and it's fixed -

we will have 3 of them doing that....Hogan, Dawes and Clark......that's what was wanted unfortunately due to injury it didn't happen, this year who knows, imagine being a defender and watching those three walking towards you before the first bounce, if Dawes gets it right and Clark, and I have spoken to both of them, I reckon they will tear the arms of the first defender who goes near them......they both feel they have let everybody down and want to prove themselves again -

Actually you are misinterpreting who that was aimed at and by........ -

When Family day comes around or you can get to training, go and speak to Chris Dawes you will soon see why his name gets put up His knee is fixed, he is out bike riding to build up the aerobic fitness and he is doing gym work, as I said in my training post, they want everybody cherry ripe after Xmas, he was as frustrated as everybody else last year, 85 over 5-6 seasons years is not "injured all the time" ask Scott Gumbleton and Ross Lyon has taken him, Dawes will come good -

You are wasting your time and energy on some on here, a complete lack of understanding, there is no grey, just black or white, I spent half of last season trying to explain the vision, it ultimately failed, so we should move on.....again some can't.......with Roos being the god like figure, they have lost a target they need...for now -

By that I assume you think that Dawes will not be fit for the first game of the season? Just had a rotten run last year, not a full pre season, followed by one niggle and another, he still managed half the games If we go with more than one captain, I expect him to be in the mix -
Training - Wednesday 20th November, 2013 @ Casey Fields
Satyriconhome replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
They can't, it is nothing but recycled twaddle -
WYL...you have very little idea do you.........the past is the past chap.....moved on....wish others would.....read my other post......I support the incumbents.....not me to judge....McLardy, Schwab and Neeld all ledt, it was inevitable, even I knew that

Nah! Leider haben Sie mich jetzt völlig verloren Mein Deutsch reicht in der Regel nur mit Rammstein-Texten
-
Bit zu viel von einer historischen Referenz für mich, denke ich?
-
Don't do that Nasher, if I don't like an opinion expressed I say so, you do the same.....democracy......some things posted on here are nothing but twaddle sometimes....myself included
-
Hardtack, thank you, you made me blush.........unfortunately there are always one or two with inadequacy issues that spoilt it for others Oh so you mean being booed off the field last season had no lasting effects...oh that's good.....supporters?
-
Why, ashamed of what you or others post on here?.....I'm not It is a Public Forum is it not? Do you really think the players are that precious?
-
I agree Old Dee.......................damn I woke WYL up, hasn't taken his anit-Schwab meds yet either.......nice to see you WYLllleeeee......anything coherent on offer this lovely afternoon?......anyway back on topic.............again hope Nev is rookied
-
Old Dee, that was the point I was trying to make to some others who lack fully defined comprehension skills The players get 'feedback' from everywhere, twitter, newspapers, a guy hanging out of a car, when they are having a meal out somewhere, their families etc etc They know exactly what is written on here sometimes without actually having to come on and read I actually get to talk to them because all they get from me is 100% support, in fact they enjoy chatting, I actually one day would like to one of the heroes on here who has a bash at a player to actually have the guts to go to training and say it to their fact.....fat chance of that
-
Curry, you really do need to get on Twitter have a look at some of the garbage Nathan Jones had to put up with last season. He makes a point of retweeting it, so the 'real' supporters can bombard the troll with tweets, works a treat by the way, never see them again If you think the players don't know supporters opinions, you are kidding yourself,
-
Nasher If you want to know the real culprits, rather than me, 'journalists' regularly read these forums, and I have heard it myself, a journalist using a direct quote from this board to get a reaction from a player........I had a go at him when he had finished
-
No, I didn't we were discussing in general the run of injuries he had, every player gets enough 'feedback' from everywhere to know how the 'supporters' view them. The players are not in a 'bubble'. That is truly bizarre, why am I dangerous, I am supporter who supports them, I don't take pot shots on twitter or here, I would say there are better candidates than me I think that just about sums you up doesn't it, and by the way I suggest your eyesight is a bit on the blink.....I make a point of not wearing footy gear to training
-
The fact that they know i post helps me talk to them, because I also chat to them about what is on here, they are 'encouraged' not to read it themselves, hence Chris Dawes giving me carte blanche the other day to tell the doubters that he is fine, which I did on here and via Twitter Again I get told things I am asked not to repeat, which I don't, if some posters on here have a problem with what I post, don't read it, I'll be hopefully going to training on Monday as well, so may chat to one of the new draftees who will tell me of their dismay at being drafted to Melbourne Can't help yourself can you, from somebody who vehemently stated last season he was no longer going to read my posts, telepathy right?
-
I have actually talked to quite a few rookies over time, Cameron Johnson, Danny Hughes, Rhys Healey, Mitch Clisby et al and this was the first I have heard that they were poorly treated, I have also gone to quite a few Casey games as well (including being in the changerooms), and have never seen it either so I thought I would question why you had reached this conclusion I think you need to ask yourself why the players talk freely to me at training, as this may not be the only contact I have As for last year that was what I was continually told by the players, all of them, yes perhaps it was a 'company' line, but you have to take it on face value, I was also told things and asked not to repeat, which I respected I support the Club, so that means supporting whoever the incumbents are, I have no wish or the ability to be the CEO, Chairman or Coach, so I will also not criticise them, they are judged by better people than me and always get "found out", so I find bashing them on forums such as this is a bit pointless, of course some of the posters on this board need to do it and that is their right, but this also means that other posters can express an opinion about their 'bashing"
