The big story has always been why is MFC the only one being investigated yet very few "journalists" have given it more than a passing remark. Finey on SEN is the only one I have heard try to make an issue of it.The rest just follow the party line, the easy or lazy way and report on Melbourne

Pretty sure Deegirl alluded to the fact that the strongest evidence had come from 2 former employees and so far she has been pretty much on the money. If this was regarded as not enough to go on and therefore they started looking at matchday moves THEY HAVE GOT NOTHING!

From the comments on ology it appears as though comments were made to Wilson which she then passed on to the AFL. She was at one stage coming out with a new allegation every few days, then when the MFC announced the appointment of their legal man her articles immediately dried up. It is one matter to make comments to a reporter, it is another to stand up in court and repeat them!

As suspected a nefarious group, bitter & twisted, hanging around the fringes of the board, coteries or whatever have been supplying the investigation with information. How else could they know what evidence they have? They should be banned from the club they claim to support!

Actually for those that didn't hear it Ralph actually said on SEN the only thing they ( the journos ) actually knew of for sure was CC's throw away line

If we get charged we get 7 days to respond & I would expect review the evidence. Simple if they've got us covered we negotiate, if the evidence is just subjective or weak then we fight. Time for the Fink to earn his money!

This whole scenario has now become high farce

As I've said before this practice has been going on since the year dot. It doesn't suddenly become tanking because the AFL introduce a priority pick! Also forfeiting a game would involve not fielding a side, at least thats my understanding of the word. Just more sensationalist terminology

As the biggest witch hunt in AFL history drags on ( how many months has it been now?). Surely they either have enough evidence to charge us and if not they should stop the investigation. They've reinterviewed people, done forensic examinations, if they haven't got sufficient evidence now they never will have!

All the players have been asked to step it up. We've been mired in mediocrity for too long! Didn't read the article as casting aspersions on anyones prospects myself.

Have noticed that when he's playing well & confidence is up he's more than willing to chase & tackle. Its when he's out of form that this part of his game drops off.Think this critisism of him is overplayed, Its not that he's unwilling its more a case of confidence.
