Really can't see us winning this. unless we bring the tackling pressure for 4 quarters they will be too fast. Another hope is the unexpected results so far this year.

First thing that comes up for me.

Don't know about the impatient part. he's in his fifth year.

We're a tall short up forward depending on how they use Jackson so someone has to play there'

Don't like Fritsch at FF his position is pocket or flank.

Good points. except can't see what it has to do with culture.

The only thing that has gone amiss with the Weid has been his lack of improvement since that elimination final. Having said that I did expect him to be selected this week. Can't see who is going to take contested marks up forward.
  8. Most of those players are still developing, been injured, or just not up to it.

Was probably his best game for the year except for the Carlton game.
  10. Not sure I grasp entirely what you're getting at, but I hope You're right.
  11. Which there is absolutely no excuse for.
  12. What I don't get is our pressure was great in the first quarter, and fair enough the other side lifts and wins more of the ball, but where does the tackling pressure go ?
  13. You certainly need to be ruthless, if you're 5 goals up, go for 10, if 10 go for 15. We seem to try and coast.

I'd prefer to be pleasantly surprised.
  15. It would be nice to go out and try to win the game. It was like watching a soccer game where one side tries to protect a1 nil lead.

Don't know what is the biggest risk, playing Weideman and hoping he'll actually do something, or playing TMac and hoping he'll come out of his form slump.
  17. Definitely need to be the hunters, this is why we blow so many games we are expected to win.
  18. Imagine if the last few quarters were longer
  19. Doesn't seem to be any cheerleaders on here tonight Clint.
  20. That's the trouble. when played permanent forward, he doesn't. Probably will get another chance after his curtain raiser form today, he'd want to take it.
  21. Saved by the 16 minute quarters.
  22. Yes, he was Ok but faded like everyone else
  23. Have to be one of the worst wins ever. Reminded me of 10 years ago when as soon as the pressure came on we go into our shells. Where was our so called fitness, where did the tackling go after quarter time, so many questions not many answers. How many players faded out after first quarter, you could just go on and on. After that effort looks like last year was no aberration.
  24. Its going to be a looonng season
  25. Now lets see about our supposed fitness
