Just needed to quote this so it appeared on another page. Also because it made me hungry.

I'd like to have a beer, oops wine with you Kev. You sound like an interesting character, although I do picture you wearing a cravat. Or maybe a Fedora. I'll purchase a second bottle for an interpreter. And i have ZERO idea of any "gist" in Picassos' work. I just thought he was bent when he painted it.

He can't think of anything exciting to say in the big moments, do he falls back on old trusty "bang" It's one of the reasons I cringe whenever someone applauds him for his Oliver call. It was dead set hopeless for a moment that huge. Same as his call of the Petracca goal to open our account. "Christian goes bang" Useless commentator.

Underwood is an abomination as a commentator. If you want an example of a network attempting to shoe-horn a woman into the coverage beyond all expectation of ability, its her. Daisy is the polar opposite.
-
Dermie speaks as if he is commentating a chess game where he has seen 5 moves ahead. Annoying and overly analytical. Rex on the other hand is possibly the worst commentator in the history of the game and any point he may make, right or wrong is undermined by his own appalling work.

I'm starting to think that way also. It certainly does not have the same feeling as last year. I was thinking we could crush teams coming into the finals last year. Now I'm not even confident that we could make the prelim.

Must admit I'm a bit surprised to read that. I guess if I was to listen to the pitch alone I wouldn't think much of her commentary, but because I find her to be so good at her job, I simply don't notice it the way I do with Underwood etc. I'm a big fan of Daisy and don't think she is at all out of place commentating on the Mens game. In fact I think she improves it.

Thats all great, but none of it eliminates the absolute torching of team mates while being a goal-hog. It's a blight on his game and must be removed altogether.

Selling Melk short there. Some are looking at this as great because it's something he would not normally do, but it's even better than that. It would have been a fantastic chase down even if one of our best defenders did it. Kudos Jake. Thats how you go about playing in finals and shutting certain mouths about being a "reserves player"

I know it's late but you may want to tidy that up a bit before someone reads it...........

Also has an ability to shift time. Seemed as if he was gone for the longest time, and with a single post, it's as if he was never gone.

Wait, what? YOU were outraged by the trivial matter of Tex having a crack at Lever for leaving, and considered it a "strike" for which he was given a chance to come back from. Take a look at yourself mate. Laughable.

The Lever "incident".....*facepalm* Outrage party.

I have a son who, through no fault of his own (not a story for the internet), thought he had no choice but to rebel and hang out with the tough kids in his high school years. He got into drugs early, way too early and I spent many nights driving around the mining town we lived in looking for him after he went missing for the umpteenth time. Lost count of the times I'd be driving around town, half [censored] on my days off, and every conversation with the local police was the same. "We know where he will be, go home (my name) and we make sure that he is ok" Could have arrested my [censored] for drink driving, but let me go every single time, because they knew I was only looking out for my troubled young fella. Most cops are awesome people. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

The hardest thing is seemingly awarding a free kick to the travelling team. Others have said it, but I'll repeat. The AFLs answer to to ban people from talking about just how atrocious the standard is. Won't be much different down at Cat Park this week.

We were at the main pub in Airlie Beach and I was almost homicidal. A group of actors and film crew around us on the [censored] making sure they didn't make eye contact. I was raging. (And the Vikings actor was seriously eyeing off my missus too, although she was shouting at the T.V also. Maybe he thought we were a bit mental)

I call (mild) B.S. We have one S.May on our list who is a repeat offender. Exceptions made considering the talent at hand.

Have to honest, I've never seen the so called "tunnel ball" incident either. I thought Pedo did some ok things for us.
