  1. Its incredible....That lead of 123 is looking like 523....I reckon if we make what...130? we should be right.....
  2. Lowest English score since 1948. Think about that for a minute, there been a lot of good teams since then.
  3. Thats a TKO now Macca. Best since Muhummad Ali retired.
  4. Yep 4 catches to boot. That laptop worked wonders for him!
  5. Only 1 English batsman in double figures so far........in fact only 4 in the match so far! Something like 16 -97 in 2 sessions and a bit. Cant really remember anything like it!
  6. Well that is where i got it from Macca...haha well done.. Well i think another few wickets here and thats the ball game and the Ashes. Theyre still 126 behind! But you never know with this game....Woakes and Butler could bat on for a while and the wicket will settle down after lunch. But wow...what a session 10-0 would you say Macca?
  7. Best Bets: Saturday Randwick Race 7 Number 1 Avilius 3.70 Win Saturday Morphetville Race 7 Number 1 Tan Tat Trusting $2.00 Place Saturday Moonee Valley Race 7 Number 1 Hightail $3.60 Win Might need 3 tvs to watch, but around 26/1 this week. Good luck punters
  8. Best Bet: Saturday Morphetville Race 7 Number 1 Tan Tat Trusting $2.00 Place
  9. Well what a disaster. How lucky were we that Dave Warner decided to YouTube how to bat at the breaks on his laptop. A great fight from him and Charlemagne. I went to bed when they were in so all ive seen is the score...looks like the rest of the team barely scored 50 between them........i bet its sunny and a dead wicket today.
  10. Good fightback by Warner now i said that. Kid Charlemagne going ok as well, like his style very relaxed. Archer is looking like nothing on this pitch after the initial few overs, was hoping that would be the case. These 2 starting to look a bit settled. Should be a fascinating next few hours.
  11. I think out of the 12 balls he faced, he missed about 7 of them. Ive never seen a batsman so badly out of form and not even looking like he can get out of the slump. Harris wasnt much better. Oh well, looks like the rain has come now.
  12. How about we trade some of the posters on here......
  13. Roots gone Archer happy. He might lose this series all on his own. The wet ground should take the sting out of the ball. If we can get through to stumps and no Smith, that will put England right on the back foot.
  14. Incredible figures Macca, maybe shoot an email to Rod Marsh ! Seriously average. The word is Warner will stay, but may have been dropped down the order to 5 if Smith was playing. Probably not a bad idea anyway. I believe Marcus harris can open and that could be plan b if Warner or Boocroft fail again, the latter getting the nod over harris because of his superior fielding. If Stark doesnt play in this game, its hard to see him getting in the team. He got 10 wickets in his last test so it hard to understand. But at least the side has great depth if there is an injury. Dont even get me started on Roots catch. A man under pressure, that was clear. We are certainly in for another exciting game and some of the team are really going to have to stand up in Smiths absence. Lets hope hes right to go for the 4th test. We only have to win 1 more game to retain The Ashes.
  15. Yeah destroy probably a bit harsh, but those lists were primed when he walked in......he did well, but has he adapted to the changes in the last few years...maybe to a degree. It seems its just all about Ross to me. Anyway, we have a coach , for now, i dont think hed be taking over anytime soon.
  16. Oh god yeah, im all for trying different things. Im a little surprised we dont get the 3 pick more often tbh. Weve had some bad luck there. Its just a small outlay anyway as you say, and well within everyones punting budget. When we get a return its usually good.
  17. Destroyed StKilda and was pushed out the door....Destroyed Fremantle and was pushed out the door...even we beat them.... its a shoe in hell be knocking on our door.
  18. You knew he was in trouble when he said, "I think im coaching better than ever."
  19. PSG? = maybe PSV Eindhoven? Ok, i think i see what your getting at. So we have a 3 pick multi for say $10...(2 cups of coffee, cause its winter) and instead of putting the 1 bet on, we go 3 x 2 leg multis, @ 3.33 each, thus at least one mathematically has to get up. Then we put on the original 3 leg as well. So then that would be 2.50 for each bet. So then you are saying if we do that we go for the higher odds @ +2.5 or more? Is that correct? I see Laddies have done a massive upgrade to the site. Its easier to find the soccer teams, but the whole thing is a little harder to navigate. Guess it will just take some getting used to. The old one did have a few glitches esp with multis...
  20. Theyre all such good horses....look at Youngstar right down the bottom at 21. Thats 1 tough 1400m race. Thats an excellent strike rate Macca.
  21. The betting fluctuations in the cricket last night were just wild. England got out to as much as 34/1 before coming back into 4s late in the game. There was the inevitable middle order crash and at one stage Leech was on a hatrick. Of course Ladbrokes was closed for maintenance from midnight till 7.30am with no warning so i couldnt get on ! (probably luckily). One thing ive noticed often with the 2 tests so far that you can get as good as 10 or more to one for both teams if your brave enough to bet on the side thats in trouble. You can only lose on the draw in this case and with bright sunshine forecast for the next game, this outcome is unlikely. Having an each way bet of 10/1 in a 2 horse race is not bad. Chelsea seemed to be peppering the goals at the end, but couldnt get the winner. Ive identified so far that the heavy scorers in the EPL seem to be Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City. I changed my strategy slightly and went looking for the +1.5 option to see if i could find one around 2/1. +2.5 is great and a top bet, but it means 3 goals....3-0 2-1 2-3 etc......whereas +1.5 takes in the 2-0 scoreline which is common in games where 1 team dominates but doesnt necessarily have the heavy scoring capability, as was the case with our new friends Sparta Prague last night. I think as long as the leg is around 2.00 thats pretty acceptable for us, even if its just 1 anchor leg. Anyway thats just me, you guys can do what ever you think. Its good to get updates from everyone re betting strategies and chosen sport. We are getting better at this.
  22. Incredible catch by Denly, crazy shot by Paine. After a near hatrick by Leech, 7 overs to go... 6-149. Labuschagnes batting saved the day early and a great comeback after a rough start and getting hit by Archer several times. Cliffhanger. Bad light meant Archer had to stop bowling and spin only was allowed. EDIT: Draw.
  23. 3-47....37 overs to go....we are in trouble here. They never wanted to chase the runs which i always think is a mistake. Having said that the bowling was too good and they went into their shells from the outset.
  24. Far out....this Archer guy. Hes gonna kill someone...... Labuschagne hasnt got a clue against this bowling....
  25. I really think England can win this now. Lets hope not. Warner is just having a mare....feel for him a bit, just doesnt even look confident.
