Theyre bowling 100% better than yesterday, theres been about 6 chances so far and we could easily be a few more down. I think were pretty lucky its only 1 really. Can Smith get another century, im on the edge of my seat.

Thanks for the weather forecast Macca ! I didnt realize we were in for more footy weather. Judging by the odds with the draw 2nd favourite now behind us, id say were in for a bit more. If we could bat through the day and have about 1 hour at them before stumps that would be good, provided we have a reasonable score on the board which we should by then. We need to get them out twice. The first half an hour will be vital. Smith needs to survive the refreshed bowling attack and we will be fine. God knows where wed be if he hadnt been injured. A century in every innings? He sure has the capability, thats for sure, but we will never know i guess.

Smith doesnt look the slightest bit fazed here. Archer seems to have become a normal fast medium with the occasional tricky bouncer. Hes only played played 31 first class matches, so without his main weapon of speed he comes back to the field pretty quickly. Pity about the rain breaks and the chip packets. Congrats to Smith for 50. Great comeback (again).

Interesting both Smith and Charlemagne have that fly swat follow through after they leave a ball......ive never really seen it before, but i dont mind it ....does look a little odd though.
