On a side note.....GWS have Freo,(H) Melb,(A) Bulldogs,(A) WC (H) and Geelong (A). (assuming us, Bulldogs and Geelong beat them) then they are lucky to be playing Freo and WC at home.....drop one of those and they probably wouldnt even make the 8.

Thanks. Your quite right i did, although i thought others had that covered already. He was pretty good wasnt he. Kicked 3 in the 2nd half and our equal main goalkicker. Has backed up the selectors persistence with him. Seems to play that offbeat forward role and doesnt cop a lot of defenders. It does indeed look like hes coming of age.

Ok so would that then have us playing Adelaide in Adelaide and assuming we lost, then we would go on to play the winner of Port V Western Bulldogs? So potentially both Adelaide teams.....? or would it be the winner of Richmond Hawthorn......fascinating.

I think its a good topic. I think there is a big element of Melbourne supporters who dont go to games. We are quite notorious for it. Etihad is a good example. For some reason people dont go to Interstate teams at home. Maybe its a hangover from when these teams first started? Nobody rated them so nobody went. It would be a good problem to solve. Perhaps with success these are some of the things that improve. I think you will find with sustained finals appearances our memberships and attendances will be up there with the other big clubs. In fact i think we could be the biggest.

Just managed to watch the game again and saw the first half for the first time, and well just a few thoughts. ANB. He came off the back of the square straight to the contest, and did it all day long. He seemed to be by himself everytime. Could PA not see this? Why didnt they try and get somebody to at least go with him. Maybe just too fast. He also set up several goals or started the chain that led to them. VINEY. He just didnt stop did he. People were worried hed be playing in pain, or lacking match fitness. Plantar Facitis. Hes back 2w after the operation. If he was playing in pain, nobody told Jack. Outstanding all day. GAWN. Back to Max of old in the first half. How long has it been!?? We totally and absolutely smashed them in the clearences, something theyd been excelling in for the last month or so. At every stoppage we were unbeatable. PA were shell shocked. Then when he went off in the 3rd injured our structure seemed to change. We didnt win the clearances TMac was not doing his stuff in the forward line. I was thinking wheres Pedo? He did get back on but seemed to just run out the game on half speed, clearly an injury to the lower leg. Hell be fine. With all the injuries weve had, this guy has just stood strong and kept us alive and in the race. Takes on guys twice his size and wins and they dont like it. HOGAN. With all hes been through this year, Father dying, cancer, suspension and even caught smoking god forbid, he was back this game. Im amazed hes even playing at all. Cancer and its effects at such a young age is unpredictable. Even the psychological aspect in itself may take years with some of us. Not Jesse. He just need to get that match fitness and mojo back and look out. Some of his positioning and moves was just pure physics. Zero stress. Just did it. Good on you Jesse. Welcome back. The club and the team would be especially proud of you. This team is still building.

Exactly....just having a look at the ladder we could have easily gone to 11th, and that could have had an effect on the team perhaps, esp going into next week. Will be interesting to see how GWS go today. Theyve only won 1 game out last 10 played at the G. Against us of course!

Reckon it was about 40kms last year....turning at 3/4 time!!.? Surely.. we will smash this bottom of the ladder, 5 losses in a row, insipid, tanking, load of rubbish side....NO CHANGE.

Not only is he one of the most exciting players at the club, he one of the most exciting in the AFL. Fast as, hard at it and can kick goals from outside 70....yet to play his 50th game.
