A Day at the Races
Some slight drifting going on, only slight. Just got 100.50/1 on Ladbrokes odds boost. Is odds boost 1 a day? ...or is it 1 a week?? Solid win to the Dees this morning too.

A Day at the Races
It was well thought out by the team.....thats why i like putting people with different approaches together. Yes i was thinking that last night. 77/1 for a win and 2 places is very good. Well done on getting 90!

A Day at the Races
Its like having the lotto numbers 2 days before the draw Macca !!....its unworldly.... No pressure though DZ....

A Day at the Races
Well thats great value Macca. Yes, haha they are all onto us now, especially with Deeza (they call me Winx) DZ picks of late. He actually seems to be drifting a bit, because he was 16 last night when first i had a look.......but thats fine, money fluctuations dont effect form. Bring it on.

A Day at the Races
Ok i see. Yes we can all use the picks in many ways. So its (plc) then, cool. 2 plc bets so far, not a bad way to go with so much talent in the fields, even a plc is hard. .....and now its over to DZ to bring us home!! Yes as far as value goes...(at the risk of sounding like KB)......I cant go past it really. I liked Ace High for nearly 3.00 the plc in the last, but his record at Caulfield isnt that great, and hes still working up to 2000+. Hartnell however, is 2 from 2 at 1400 in grp races at Caulfield. Cant get much better.

A Day at the Races
Oh yeah, Race 6....was a bit distracted when i was doing that, cheers. I cant edit it now however as the edit button has now disappeared as it does... Your pick is for the win......? Good pick.

A Day at the Races
Its always a fine line between ability and value thats for sure Macca, and you need both... Best Bet: Caulfield Race 7 No 1 Hartnell (Plc) $4.40

A Day at the Races
I think its a bit of both really. We have had quite a few picks around 2-2.50....its ok as long as they win. When they dont it always feels like a wasted pick i guess. I prefer the better odds but you need an anchor i reckon sometimes.

A Day at the Races
Agree Macca, which ones!!? I think Alizee is getable. Was a soft 7 over 1200 last time at Rosehill. 1400 at Caulfield is a different story. Its 1 from 2 over the distance and that was at Randwick in a grp 2, whereas Hartnell is 2 from 2 at Caulfield over the distance (Grp 1 & Grp 2) and is 17/1...wasnt that far behind at Rosehill. Id be throwing it in any multiples $4.50 plc...Land of Plenty is a big threat also. Also Nature Strip is akin to Winx under 1200 and is still 2.20 but of course will come in come raceday. Still a good pick now tho. Just some early thoughts.....

Monkey Business
I actually have a scarf of the Dutch giant here at home after attending 1 game at their home ground. You could fit 4 of their grounds inside the MCG! They beat PSV Eindhoven 4-0 that day, and there was much celebrating including random huggers screaming at me in Dutch. Thats the thing about margins, they give you half a chance with some decent odds.

Monkey Business
Well i think its good if people select their preferred poison. I think DZ has the soccer on a string (not to mention the horses) and if you prefer the basketball, then perhaps thats a way to go. You can always swap back i guess. I prefer the afl margins because at least i know something about the game... I will be swapping to this come round 1. The draw factor in the soccer is why you get the good odds though. Its always on the cards and part of the deal. They used to include the draw in the afl margins when it was U 39.5pts. They changed it to 1-39. The good thing is with all the sports, we should be able to keep Monkey Business going all year.

Monkey Business
Yep got to agree with you there. It just felt like the 2000 GF all over again. IT was painfully obvious after 15 mins we were not going to win. To think they had Gaff and Nik Nat to come back in makes me think not much will change this year. They will take a power of beating both on the field and off. But bring it on. Go Dees.

Monkey Business
Yeah i guess thats right. The team is good. It just seems we are picking horses and sport but not all together, who ever gets the horse seems to miss the sport pick and vise vesa. But its good weve settled on a 3 pick strategy in both. We are overdue and the odds will favour us now, one would think. (hope)

A Day at the Races
Gee having another look at that Lightning Stakes, did realize Ossie really sort of missed the start and had to go around the outside of the field. Its last 70m was going 2 for 1 to every other horse.

Awesome run by Ossie....sprouted wings. I would say Craig Williams left the run too late.
