I was a huge Kent fan, but he needed a change, could hardly get on the park for us. Prefer Fritsch to Watts, ditto May over Hogan. Howe was a big loss but wanted to leave & may not have reached his current heights with us if he wasn't happy staying. Can't provide answers to your H questions, thought he started well with us but then injury struck & it was over fairly quickly.

Did Freo sign Hogan to the 8 years he wanted? I thought I read somewhere it is only a 3 year contract. I really think there was something more to all of this if that is the case.

I think Mahns did exceptionally well given he had to deal with a massive basket case of a club that only appointed its list manager a few days before the period began, who happens to be one of the worst cases of little man syndrome I have ever encountered (I used to be neighbors with Peter Bell in Ascot Vale when he was at North, he has always been a f l o g who thinks he's smarter than everyone else).

How did I 'blast' away? What you said was wrong.....

Wrong, we will use 4 picks in the draft & if any more rookies are picked up they'll have to qualify for Cat B status.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
If they take frost & pick 10 for him its a steal, no way we get a 2nd rounder back imo. Its likely our starting position & would possibly require a swap/downgrade on later picks on top. Its been reported they'll push for 2 x 1st rounders for him. Frost is worth an early 2nd at best. We got frost, plus picks used on anb & o.mac for an early 2nd round pick.....

Agree with your general sentiment, but I'm pretty sure Heeney & Mills would've been named in the top 3 mids from the last 2 years..... Here's hoping our boys develop better than the Swans kids!Btw, thanks WJ for all the Parish info.

We planned on upgrading our draft picks before the trade period despite only having pick 6 back then, so I think your premise is incorrect there..... If your trying to narrow down or do guesswork on who we will pick based on that its pretty flawed.

As I said about 10 pages back, this won't happen because bombers are ridiculous. They accepted the Ryder trade because Patty was ready to sue them as he still believes his sick child is the result of those injections!!! Fact! Imagine that story coming out in all its glory!! Lol Melksham is worth no more than a 3rd round at best, otherwise PSD, as others here have said, no one else looks like remotely touching him for 4 years & $1.6m so he should make it to us easily!!

4 members of the Match Committee vote on our best & fairest. Still going after Garland hey? You have no idea. 24 years old ain't considered young in the afl btw. There's no more excuses after 114 games, soft & slow as a junior in a poor draft year, the exact 2 traits we already have in abundance!!!!
