CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
Just a 'corky' according to Goody in his presser. Can't imagine he'll have any issue getting up in two weeks time.

How massive were Jackson and Rivers in their 50th matches?!

Dean Kent retires
Always loved watching Dean in the red and blue. He was a genuinely exciting prospect that seemed to sadly be cut down with injury whenever he was having a decent run in the team. Aside from his pace, he had some seriously amazing goal sense and a ripping left foot.

Multi-Call of Kozzy's Match Winner!
This just popped up on YouTube today! I think the ABC version is my favourite. Cheers to @The Mighty Demons for the edit!

Cats showing no mercy against the Suns at the moment. Could get ugly.- CASEY: Rd 19 vs Northern Bullants

ANB, Kozzie and Spargo 0 tackles inside 50. 😕- POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Win or lose the '22 flag, our forward line needs a serious rejig in the off season. We struggle to maintain possession inside forward 50 and our forwards fail to take accountability for their defensive man. Aside from Fritsch and Pickett, we also lack consistent scoring options. Spargo and ANB, while handy foot soldiers, don't kick enough goals to be threatening. Try as he might, Ben Brown's body is near cooked. Weideman and M.Brown have both shown that neither are the answer, and it seems that are hopes for this season are pinned on either a near 30 old coming off a 4 month foot injury or a 19 old yet to play a senior game. Here's hoping our recruiters have a few tricks up their sleeve during the trade/draft period.- POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
A complete reverse of last weeks superb defensive performance against the Dockers and a reversion to the dumb, fast shootout football that saw us last in near identical circumstances to the Bulldogs a fortnight ago. Hibbo and ANB both had absolute mares tonight and we're still seriously struggling with our conversion rate inside 50. We scored from 24 of our 65 inside 50's while Collingwood took their chances and finished with a conversion rate above 50% (21 scores from 41 entries).- NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Saints should be disappointed in that. 4 points but handy percentage gone begging. Great to see Hannebery back.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Par for the course in that part of the world...- VOTES: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
6. Viney 5. Brayshaw 4. Petty 3. Petracca 2. Fritsch 1. Langdon Pickett, Spargo, May and Rivers stiff to miss out- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Jake Melksham continuing his surprise resurgence. Chased hard and provided a solid target on the lead. Probably should've finished with 2-3 goals Liking his game at the moment. Adds a different element to our forward line.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Probably as good a defensive performance as I've seen from this club over the last two years. Rivers and Hibberd have both slotted back into our defence seamlessly. Petty is a deadset gun!- GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Defence is looking steady. Rivers playing a good game so far.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
Best set of hands in the side at the moment. Petty's enjoyed a good year so far but is still quite underrated amongst many in the AFL media. I have a feeling that will change in 2023 if not in the next month.- NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Essendon with 8 of the last 9 goals.- POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Gawn and Jackson are so woefully out of form it's not funny. The less said about May's brain explosion, the better.- COACHES VOTES: Round 18, 2022
Love that Hibbo picked up a vote. He nullified Robbie Gray when he played forward and hasn't seemed to have lost any penetration in his kicking or much leg speed for that matter. I would not be surprised if there's a spot for him on our list for another year.- VOTES : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Hard to go past Kozzy today 6. Pickett 5. Viney 4. Petracca 3. Jordon 2. Langdon 1. Hibberd- POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Great performance by our backline. May and Hibberd in particular were rock steady and Tomlinson looked at home in the absence of Petty. Kozzy has been threatening to tear a game apart like this since his first year. Unreal performance. - NON-MFC: Round 22, 2022
