AFLPA are a shambles.
-
he doesnt need to gain any strength, hes already stronger than any other player and hes only 20. Having said that, he will get stronger. Scary really.

I lie to think it was all our emails to WADA that did the trick. Thanks to everyone that wrote to them

Notice that not one of them praised or mentioned his competitiveness or toughness? They were all comments by biased supporters just being excited about a new draftee (which is fine of course and every teams supporters do it), but the reality was right in front of us the whole time. At least now when we get excited about Salem, Viney, Hogan, Kent, Brayshaw etc etc we do it with the knowledge that they have already shown a desire to compete and a hunger for the contest at AFL level. Doesn't guarantee anything of course, but at least our excitement is based on something genuine.- 122 replies

Morton at pick 4 is just diabolical. I remember watching his junior highlights at the time, and remembering he looks lie a nice kick of the footy but not much else... I think we all hoped he would be a Robbie FLower type wingman/utility. But he wasnt a competitor and hated contact. And to make the same mistake 12 months later and take a similar player in Watts at pick 1.. it defies belief. Thank christ those days are over, but it set us back so far. We will get there and are in a much better position now, but bloody hell we came from a long way back.- 122 replies

T Mac kicking for goal? You sure you want that? Not saying he wont be good at it, his kicking has improved and he seems to work very hard on all aspects of his game. And there is the is the slight problem of who becomes our big key back to play on the gorillas? Sam Frost maybe.... I enjoy your thinking Bluey. Something about a Hogan T Mac combo up forward is exciting.... but the midfield must be sorted first

Coming 4th so far. Amazing effort. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/age-footballer-of-the-year-round-6-votes-20150510-ggygin.html THE TOTALS Nat Fyfe (Fremantle) 39 David Mundy (Fremantle) 30 Brad Ebert (Port Adelaide) 30 Tom McDonald (Melbourne) 29 Todd Goldstein (North Melbourne) 29

Another 6 votes from the coaches and T Mac is now outright 6th in the Player of the year award http://www.aflca.com.au/index.php?id=14&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=1925&tx_ttnews[backPid]=9&cHash=295a4bd20d Looks like we may have another star player besides Jones, finally.

guess we find out today or tonight if the World body for drugs in sport is serious our not

Cheers DD. Maybe the Doggies game is too early for an ANB debut, but he will definitely play at some stage this season
-
anyone have ANB's stats from the game? Would love if he had a big game next weekend and then debuted the week after vs the Dogs
-
The midfield is going to get a big boost when Salem is finally moved there Hopefully thats sooner rather than later
-
How can West coast rebuild so fast WTF do they do that we cant?
-
Just watched the incident again, no way Vince can get suspended for that. Absolutely no way.
-
Ideal changes there. Stretch as sub, he looked puffed after 5 minutes last night. Isnt it sad and disturbing that I think we are a chance against the Hawks (if Viney and Jetta come in and Vince isnt suspended) ,... just 12 hours after that debacle last night and i think we can beat the reigning premiers . God help us all
-
Well we lost to the Swans by 31 points last season, 38 last night.. so this year was a much worse result when you factor in the woeful first half.
-
god i hope Bernie doesn't get rubbed out To say we need him vs the Hawks is an understatement, especially if Viney isn't ready And we definitely need them both the week after in a winnable game vs the Dogs
-
Its time for Salem to move into our midfield, hes everything we need in there - hard, skillful, creative. Even for half a game, or as long as his fitness allows.

His 2nd goal was an interesting kick, it traveled 55 metres and was a low bullet kick. It was a rocket. He doesn't seem to get much height in his set shots. The one handed contested mark was epic.
