After watching most games this year I am more convinced than previous years that Sylvia has to be traded. Watched him closely today and he is at best a cameo player who just does not present enough. He has currency and will add to a higher placed team. We will not miss him nor his patchy performances. He is a senior player but not a leader. Lets get some value for him by trading.

Rusted Nail - Neeld was and continues to be a huge mistake until his ripcord is pulled, but he is not the only mistake. What baffles me concerns our former champions who have shown a distinct cavalier approach to keeping the incompetent boys club alive such as G Lyon. In doing so they have wrecked any credibility this club has left. Personally I just want the best possible people in to manage and coach this club regardless of where they have come from. MFC people have proved nothing in their efforts to improve this football club.

We need a Mundy type but better still just get Mundy.

It is a no brainer, this club has to get a proven senior coach who can mentor a young coach in waiting. It has to be a succession plan like the Roos Longmire combination. This is the only way for the MFC. Just get it done ASAP

After Neelds second pre season there appeared to be no obvious signs that we would be so rotten at the seasons start. Neelds words were bullish at the start of the season and yet not one MFC insider announced any negativity about 2013. All expectations were we would win between 5 and 8 games and further improve in 2014. So why didn't anyone at the club including board level see any warning signs? We almost had a injury free list at the start yet no one including Neeld expected we would fall over so easily. Now we have to totally restructure and I have heard nobody take actual responsibility. Don resigns but does not apologise for such a mess. Everyone who will go will just walk away without anyone knowing exactly why we ended up in such a pathetic position. Who the hell is responsible and what did they do wrong. Does anyone know the actual reasons why the players are not improving under Neeld? Lots of questions but not many answers.

The club, the coach, the list. Just pathetic and sad. Hope? Where! If anyone ever mentions QB is our GF again I will spew up!

The worst coached side I have watched in 20 years. It is putrid to watch. Anyone who can find a positive spin on this are on another planet to me.

There was plenty of good support at Federation Square today, but no matter how many Neeld people keep pushing his wheelbarrow he is done! How much rubbish can anyone stand to watch is the question. Not a glimmer of improvement under this coach. Argue against that all you like.

He plays the party line because he is the Capt FFS. I like the young man but his coach is covered in poo and drowning in it as every week passes.

Bloody hell I have got no idea what to think about this mob anymore! Who knows what poo our club takes on in the future because they have a rolled gold history of stuffing up with boards. Whoever gets this gig has to do a lot of confidence building and actually deliver bloody outcomes.

Spud is paid to speak for coaches. James Frawley is a highly paid footballer, and is paid to play AFL football to the best of his ability. If his coach cannot do his job to the satisfaction of the club, then he gets the sack. As for Frawley, his job is earn his packet on the field, no matter who is the coach.

Went to the last rally of supporters at the paddock. Nothing has changed, team is shyte to watch. I love the MFC but its the club I love, not the current pretenders wearing the jumper.

The whole MFC situation has polarised members/non members. I am not in the Neeld camp because I have seen NOTHING to give me hope he can improve this list. Yawn yawn, my last post on this thread.

What the club needs is a can do man who promotes the club has media presence, and gives this club mojo. The last hero who have us hope died sadly. Other than Jim, no one stands out as a leader I described above.

I hope our hero will be Peter Jackson. On field keep an eye on Jesse Hogan for future hero status.

Neeld had my support up until the Gold Coast game. I am so annoyed with his style now he just infuriates me every time I see him. I have had enough of his pre/post game platitudes and sick of the same spin every week. I would be absolutely gob smacked if he got this side to be competitive but if he proves me wrong then I will be the first to say sorry. It is just such a massive gamble for the club to continue with him in 2014. The club including Peter Jackson will look like first class fools if we are getting flogged in the first 5 games in 2014 and then are forced to move on Neeld. Massive gamble! He has lost me that's for sure.

Depends on your definition of breaking point. Mine relates to choosing to do other things rather than watch my football team being flogged. Each to their own! As to a hardened supporter...bollocks! I have been around 30 odd years and attended hundreds of games and paid my membership without fail.

I have already paid up my premium membership for the umpteenth time. I turn up at most games but the utter rubbish they serve up has turned me off. Even the most hardened supporters have their breaking points.

Whilst I can understand supporters having a crack at the OX, those same supporters need a realty check on how the other half see the MFC world. Neeld is fast becoming the most unpopular senior coach at this club in its history. The club board has some very ordinary performers and a lot of people have reached despair with this club. OX is just a guy who loves the club and sees the need for change and it is urgent. This requires a revolution not the same thought processes that have prevailed for 40 odd years. This also includes the thought processes of supporters of the MFC.

It is really interesting how many supporters are just happy to stay within 60 odd points. Dee supporters have well and truly raised the white flag. If Neeld was in charge of Carlton or Essendon under similar circumstances he would have been lynched by now. Our lot just slow hand clap and raise the white flag. Bloody hell!

The only facts I know is the scoreboard every week Sat! The football department is one big failure at the minute. That is an undisputable fact!
