Great to see Chunk in typical style, However.......it is time for others to step up and get a fire lit under their backsides. Let's not give games to the same culprits who cannot improve their skills and decision making under pressure. We have depth now so let's use our depth. Salem and Hogan future stars of the game!!!!

What a bunch of genius 's !! Fan Summit attended by whom? When was this advertised? Or was there a chook raffle organised to get tickets! I am thinking of tearing up my expensive membership and returning to the seats behind the goals to get closer to a semblance of atmosphere at Demons games. My seat in the northern stand has become a soulless place during our games and the surroundings inside are at best pleasant. The whole bloody experience at our games at the G is bordering on a big yawn

It was such a good idea that they still manage to win games against the oldest AFL club. We need to reverse this nonsense

Yeah I get it!! I get we love our club, I get we love Jim and all our former greats, and I get signing up again is the right thing to do. It is not a stupid thread, it is a very relevant thread to many many MFC people who have endured garbage football every winter for the past decade. Paul and his team will put smiles on all our faces in time, however unless the football is good to watch, win lose or draw, people will stay away and do other things. I am confident our team will play much better football.

I started this thread because I have been a continuous member for 35 years and now am starting to question the value of a premium membership to the MFC. I love my football club but I do not love this current team. For the past 3 years I have lost interest in attending games on a regular basis. Simple reason for this! The football has been bad to watch. At this point in time I question our medical and fitness staff to keep our best players on the park. I question our recruitment staff for obvious reasons. I question the majority of the list on their ability to compete with the rest of the competition. I rate our coaching staff I rate our current administration This leaves me with a decision to sign on for a 36th year. Probably sitting at 60/40 today, with the hope Roos will get the job done and some players will reach their potential. I am guessing I am not alone with questioning paying another membership

I hope MC does not dud the MFC. I will not pre judge, but watch with close interest.

Poor skills Poor effort Poor attitude Below AFL standard......... It stinks and enough is enough. I was at the game and it makes me want to spew up at the sub par standard this group serves up. How the hell can the AFL expect people to take time out of their lives for this garbage. There is not enough talent and or quality to field 18 teams and we have the worst list in 30 years of my memory. Enough MFC enough.

Peter Jackson wants to sell hope to supporters. Well Peter I admire your tenacity in trying to get this club on track, however you inherited a group of players not worthy of been on an AFL list. This group in the main are a total disgrace to the history of this club and the once great jumper. Peter, unless you and Roosy can completely rid this team of the rot, then I fear there is bugger all hope. The list is rotting manure, and it makes me feel sick to support the club at this time.

Good thread...action action action....call to arms. Most of our cattle are not worthy of an AFL game. There is insufficient talent to piece a team together at the MFC. How the hell does Peter Jackson sell hope now? Please explain this to me. Football has become such a sad case at this club....there are many very sad sad supporter stories out there. Memberships will dry up, sponsorships will dry up. Today's lack of desire and effort and skills is totally beyond my thinking process. I have absolutely no idea how the club dumps so many players and replaces them by 2015

This club needs to brave but smart. I for one have had enough years of poo from this list and want the club to go damn hard to do what needs to be done. 2015 MUST be a climb several spots season. I have already turned to watching more enjoyable games such as Geelong instead of the poo the MFC delivers. Keeping serving up poo in 2015, and my 2000 bucks will be spent somewhere else. Time to deliver for this club

Hands up those who have had enough of Paul Little. I'm sick of this self absorbed bully who pushes everyone around as he sees fit. He is an absolute A grade half back flanker....... Essendon would do much better to get rid of this litigious floggg

Macca you make some good points about Riley, and Barry. As for beating North and West Meth...sorry mate we ain't good enough. Our supporters need to be as ruthless as Roos will be in the off season. No more of this after 2014, the club simply cannot afford to carry players anymore. Slice and dice

Nothing will change at this club until we rid ourselves of players from our shyte past. 2015 has to include some game changers at this club. Jackson talks about hope..... My hope is we cut our list to ribbons of B graders who have had more chances than I care to remember.

9 years and a handful of good games. Don't kid yourself , 9 years does not translate into quality service.

That's one reason why some Melbourne based teams have players on their list who would not get an game at the highest level. The MFC have more than 10 players who would not get a game anywhere else. Gene pool cannot cope with 18 teams.

I am not sure what to make of Grimes. He has been in the system for a reasonable time but from what I have seen of him this year he has not taken the next step. He seems very predictable and is not a good on field decision maker. In my opinion he is treading water as an AFL player and needs a very big 2015. He may be a good leader off field to young men but stuffs up far too often in battle.
