If we are talking about players being moved on, it could be said that MFC allows players to move on given a perceived lack of opportunity rather than mistake or inability type scenario. The former is positive the latter is negative, and potentially undermining.

I'll preface it by saying I think that not only was that last game, both wholisticaly and individually one of Australia's greatest sporting achievements it deserves more, and I believe like where in this case you have both, historically combined, it should be recognised in the Guinness Book of Records. I feel sure that the MCC and MFC could come together on this for 2022's edition and incorporate into whatever is being done.

Footscray had a chance, they didn't take it. On our whole play cycle this year, we had chances, and we took them.Why would you want it any other way. It was the ride of the season
