  1. Don't forget the AFL umpire equaliser affect
  2. Is there something to be sad for the pre flag win status as well when looking for good players
  3. Yep, good mention on bump balls and slow "stand "calls as well. Another one is wild prerogative on who gets to call out of bounds depending on who will benefit or not. Although they have started to pick that up now.
  4. I think we should not only do it for Melksham. I'm of the opinion it should be for Checkers and Steele as well. Because we owe them a lot for what they seem to have started to build here. A new standard of no quarter given, uncompromising, hard and non stop FOOTBALL.
  5. Not that I dislike umpires but I can usually smell a first and second qtr purge against MFC to come cracking down on us this Saturday. One can lay good odds on certain free types being enforced. Prior knowledge of the free types will have been relayed to both teams of course. Kingy will need to be up and about with all their tricks.
  6. I dunno, they are past masters at using any type of incentives. Also it personalises a very non personal situation onto one of our great players and clubman.
  7. By the way if things keep going ✨️ "They will come"
  8. What do you think RIF? I reckon he really has a drawing capacity of adulation from both sides just by himself. Similar of course to the Picketts. Without getting into fan club angles and premature assessments.
  9. Every week we sit down and watch players being savagely tripped and kicked deliberately with no retribution of, or, for that matter, recognition of interference. Are we looking at a similar story to the damage now surfacing of players suffering permanent damage/injury due to the sneaky, non existent push into uncontrolled collision rule. Both are often ending in concussion.
  10. Melksham kicks goals fairly often. Sometimes a lot in clutch moments.
  11. Not averse to change . Leave in Kingy's hands and believe. I do think by him playing Melksham this early and Checkers, it actually worked well, and some didn't, as it definitely destabilised their back line setup.
  12. Makes you wonder about some folks, don't it....
  13. Gotta have a hardy laugh about that, remembering the old days when we took in large cans to stand on.....
  14. Max's tap work is as good as before, and now we have two new "breaths of fresh air" that read the game outstandingly well to get there.
  15. I was doing doing the same because I had thought he had made a couple of previous attempts, and didn't have my tick, but I was wrong and he did some good things in traffic, looked comfortable and second attempts linking up.
  16. Another split second and the maggots would have taken it off Salem
  17. So Tom, in his innocence must have asked for, and received a copy of it.
  18. This bloke needs to have his membership reviewed by PTB along with contacts
  19. Yep, he's a second efforts man. When a big fellow does that you really notice.....actually I think I saw one second and third effort.
  20. On the associated subject, as I was led to believe that Kingy isn't afraid to mention previous losses mistakes, I would be thinking there are a few characteristics about this match up that could just make it quite interesting.
  21. I'm gonna miss Carlton when they go to Tassie.
  22. You are a born teacher GW....It's a good quality to have.
