Judd McVee contract
Very average stats for the position and style he plays. Take second rounder

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
I think we win this one. Feeling confident and will be there. Not too fussed with the ins and outs either. It’s too frustrating wishing this bloke or that goes in or out with our club. I’m sticking to keep getting games into JVR, Windsor, Kolt, Langford , Lindsay , Jefferson and I used to say McVee. To McVee I’d say keep the contract talks going or we are looking to our 2026 list.

Rival Clubs Monitoring Jake Lever
Agree, with Adams having a shot.

Rival Clubs Monitoring Jake Lever
The Lever of 3-4 years ago is a walk up start. Surprised he’s only 29.

Judd McVee contract
I said, no inside knowlege. Why do so many people here want to argue or put people down.
-
Rival Clubs Monitoring Jake Lever
That’s footy, sometimes as a lower level player you get a game when you think you would be dropped and vice versa. Must have a very heathy opinion of self if this is true as he’s played some shockers the last few years

Judd McVee contract
Gone No inside knowlege other than clearly not enjoying his role in the team. Likely two WA clubs know that , have had initial talks about where he would play and a rough dollar amount. Furthermore , doesn’t even have the excuse of wanting to concentrate on his game and winning finals.

Late second at the very best I think GS

Can we talk about Kolt?
From afar he has an overestimated opinion of himself and his place in the team. It can be both a bad thing and a good thing depending on how he improves. I thought it in ANB first few years and we know how he turned out.

CASEY: Rd 15 vs Coburg

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Gee a possible win against North takes me back to the mid/ late sixties

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
I’ve never been a big fan but hats off to him in GF.

Trade Targets
And everywhere else in society. When I see a coach desperately looking at the stats sheet for answers you know it’s gone too far. It will never happen but would it make any difference to this weeks outcome if Goody gave the stats guys a day off?
-
Trade Targets
All good here. It’s just I am so over stats in today’s game. On the subject of moving the ball well I would love to be a fly on the wall when Dennis Pagan talks to Clarkson kangaroos this week.

Trade Targets
Thx for humouring me. I know what confirmation bias is but didn’t expect it here. After all we are a struggling team and we have ladder results as the ultimate judge when we criticise this or that. very much in the same way you can’t say we move the ball quickly if the result is not a goal. It is a point, out of bounds or a rebound. We can all name great sides that moved the ball fast from the past, but of course they had efficiency. Closer to home look at our second half of 21 flag.

Trade Targets
Bit over my head, I came down in the last shower. So to be clear , do you think we are a fast moving ball movement team?
-
Trade Targets
Don’t wish to be argumentative but I don’t buy the stats that we are fast moving in any way. And for every side that turns it around five or six don’t. I’ve responded to trade targets and you can’t say to a trade target we will turn it around

Trade Targets
The biggest drawback to a target is Goody as coach. All of the targets have played against Goody game plan. And it’s a style you would only play for money, not enjoyment. Then there is training facility. After all this time an open paddock exposed to one of the busiest roads in Australia. Then the playing list. I hated playing with selfish players like Fritta so there go your forwards. I hated midfielders who got a lot of the ball but couldn’t kick getting all the accolades, and I would not ever put up with May abusing me for every error I make as a back prospect. That’s without starting on the crowds we draw and no identity to push your brand.
-
Trade Targets
I don’t know about that.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
I would consider a trade for either if a good offer comes along. Otherwise do we take the attitude we have two very good but not superstar players and build the team outwards and not have them as central. To me it might be better accepting they are getting overpaid rather than trading and paying part of their salary. That is surrender to another side who you have to submit to. Let’s show strength and not be an walkover

Can we talk about Kolt?
For me I judged that SA very high draft pick as a bust in his first game warm up. And then after the failure of his first game he said he let the Greek Community down.
-
Can we talk about Kolt?
Not against the half back role idea at all.

Can we talk about Kolt?
I think he will play a lot of games for us and be a leader but it won’t be as a star.
