Selection is not going to fix it. We can't select what we don't have. We have a list problem and we're trying to manufacture a game plan around it.

His and our expectations are too high. Some of those shots were not easy, they were 50/50's at best. Unfortunately he's taking those on board when he gets the easy shots and it's effecting him. Easy to say, hard to do but if he just took the Ted Lasso advice to be a goldfish his conversion rate would rise significantly.

Agree with you...and they need to let Kossie play footy, not just play defend. Lesser players can play that role. I would look at Bowey forward or on a wing. We need someone with smarts who has good depth & hits targets with his kicks, players or goals. Too many role players forward of centre is indeed the wrong mix.

A couple of points here... The first it's not about draft picks at round 16. It's about what we have to deal with at the end of the season and every Freo loss is a good one for us. The second point is, if we can't retain a top 4 slot from here without relying on other teams losing then it's no point us getting it. If someone overtakes us then we are not playing well enough to have an impact this season. We don't need a breathing space, we need to have a strong run into the finals from here on to be a threat. Last season we held onto a top 2 spot by default and see where that got us. Out in straight sets. What you're posturing is another top 4 finish but again by default. If that happens we will get the same result as last year...out in straight sets.

Who is Duncan???

Don't know about the next Jackson but I like the look of Verrall. I think he will be player if he gets a clear run with injury. Farris-White is very much a project, a longer road.

It didn't seem to concern Freo in the Jackson trade... He's out of contract which is a plus...so we offer what we consider right. Probably a 2nd rounder. Maybe they push him to the preseason draft but I would doubt they do that.

We should deal the way they liked to deal on the Jackson trade. He's out of contract so we will give you...what a 2nd rounder?, 3rd rounder? We certainly don't owe them anything.

You might just have the answer here... We don't have the front half of the Daniher era, not even close. So we need to manufacture something different. ...and to a degree it works. I think it was to play on Cameron. Tomo couldn't play this role. As it turns out Cameron didn't feature but who was to know.

A good first up effort I thought 'Dee'... ...has missed a lot of football but there's a lot to like about him. When he gets his fitness levels up I reckon he will add a more to his game. Can see him as a very mobile ruck/forward.

Please no...he does well at Casey but offers zero tackling pressure. ...we can't afford that at AFL level. I'm with 'Red', he's probably played himself into the sub role.

Sorry, but I'm not trusting an osteopath with this stuff. I did many a hammy and they were never sore when I got back to running, that's the problem. As soon as you start to stretch out to full pace, no warning, they go. You have to ease back into it. My observation from afar...Clarry was running too hard too soon.

'BDA' was predicting we would probably get a pick in the range of 5-10 based on where Freo will finish this season. You misread his post as being we would finish between 5-10 on the ladder. That's what I'm talking about.
