  1. I think this one will have some surprises at the top end. Instead of Hogan & Cameron we might have a few Ace Cordy's...
  2. With Fitz being moved on and Dawes maybe on the trade table if rumours are correct we will definitely be in the market for a tall forward/ruck... I don't think this is the one but am interested to see what we do over the trade period.
  3. If he is one of the players involved in the WADA case then we can't look at him. It's really that simple for me.
  4. Not slow 'George', but has yet to find a place as you say.
  5. You don't think Dom Tyson would have the same valuable information???
  6. He's lost it more times than just this year 'steve', you can refuse all you like. Yes he has talent and speed but his kicking is either not so good or lazy at times and he has absolutely no idea when the ball is in the air. He's not what we need but could be an asset in a team like the Tiges where he won't be relied on as much.
  7. Forget Yarran 'steve', if you are worried about sook factor & bad attitude then he has it in spades. Neither of the rucks you mention are forwards, both need the number one role so unless you want Max back at Casey then a no for them. Love 'Stevie J', one of the most enjoyable players to watch since Jurrah left the game but I'm not sure he brings leadership.
  8. He's become a valuable player for us now. Can play forward, drop back when we need an extra, play across the middle and a very good 3rd man up. He will only get better from here on, I hope it's with us.
  9. Out of that list Watts has the most value by far, I would keep him...but, you can never say never.
  10. Nice move by Carlton... The Gibbs Cup, the Kruezer Cup, the Schache Cup... Not sure but isn't there a common thread here? now what is it....ummmm ...and another unrelated question...who is the Chairman of the AFL? which club did he play for? it's some guy that stands for integrity, good manners and ....it's just not coming
  11. Underrated by the EFC fans but I reckon he's ok but probably not in the age profile we're now after.
  12. Was thinking along similar lines the other day 'Chaser'. Always worth asking the question...
  13. Tomlinson took Dawes to the cleaners when they played against each other last year...
  14. Bring his brother to Melbourne 'Mach' and then they can be close... Although KK is supposed to have a big overs offer from Brisbane so that is more likely.
  15. Very funny 'steve'...should text that one into KB I'm not that interested in where a player sits in club B&F's, particularly Carlton. There are some on our list playing at Casey that polled well in the past. I agree with 'Redleg', he is a dumb, lazy footballer who picks and choses when to go. He has the leg speed but he would have to be the most embarrassing player to watch when the ball is in the air. It's not that he ducks his head, it's that he seems to have no idea where the ball is once it leaves the ground.
  16. I wouldn't go with Yarran, I just don't rate him as some. By the by, I notice the Denham has jumped off him after prematurely proclaiming him a champion a few years back. Would definitely look at Anderson, may need to do a Kennedy, McGlinn, Mummy deal to get him. He would definitely be in Hawks succession plans.. The ruck/forward role would be good to fill, maybe King is being groomed for it but if so they need to give him more ruck time at Casey. Sinclair was the one I was looking at last season but he's really locked in his place at WC now.
  17. I would say Yarran has elite speed 'steve', that's it for the elite category for me. He's an inconsistent talent, a bit hit or miss in the kicking dept. probably more to do with a lack of intensity and being a bit lazy and he has absolutely no idea when the ball is in the air.
  18. Mentioned this one somewhere before but would look at going hard on Jed Anderson...
  19. I'm not a fan. He is lazy, has no idea how to play a ball in the air and his disposal is hit or miss. No thanks... Make a big offer for Motlop...or look for leg speed elsewhere.
  20. Petracca was a forward mainly until his last u18 year where he thought he could improve his prospects in the draft by moving into the midfield and that he did. Petracca is a natural goal kicker and will end up kicking a lot more than Howe over his career if and when he gets a start. "After being an elite underage basketballer – Petracca was a member of the AIS basketball squad at under-18 level alongside recent NBA draftee Dante Exum – he quit that sport and turned solely to footy at the start of 2013. It's turned out to be a win for the AFL. Petracca played last year for the Eastern Ranges and kicked 41 goals off a half-forward flank, but showed a lot of promise. Going Places: the full tale of Christian Petracca He turned his attention to becoming a midfielder, improved his fitness and went for broke. It was obvious pretty quickly he was a natural fit in that role, starring through the TAC Cup season and the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships."
  21. 'old dee', he's only just coming up to his 50th game in a couple of weeks. I think we can mark him better on his next 30 games, he has been inconsistent this year but I think we will get a lot better from him going forward.
  22. 11 Brownlow votes and a few BOG's, he's had a down season but still yet to play 50 games. They've had a few steals 'Chaser', Grundy was another at pick 18.
  23. Had an average season this year but excellent last year...how is Kelly going by the way?
  24. There worst mistake is hard to quantify. I think there were a few major mistakes made at board level before Neeld was appointed that I will never forgive them for and it's why we are where we are now. In no order they were, the hiring of CS, the sacking of Bailey and the way it was handled, allowing Stynes to stay on as President when ill and clearly unable to do the job required, leading to Lyon coming in as some kind of consultant to help his mate Jim out when he had no qualification to do so. The board should have put the interests of the members first, it didn't and it was an absolute disgrace.
