  1. People with biased opinions here. One minute everything CW writes is crap twisted and exagerrated. The next they are buying into her comments about investigator tactics.
  2. No stress, will be a fresh thread next training session. These threads really are to discuss players and how they are coming along in the off season, which a friendly dis agreement regarding Tynan, Watts and Rivers erupted which I think is quite suitable for this thread. That said, tell me this doesn't remind you of Rivers. Look at the Mark at 1.13. It ll be the day when Watts takes one of those let alone numerous amounts in a game. Thinking about this kid more I think that he could even play a nifty medium forward role well. Good grab and decent defensive skills to help hold the ball in. [media=]
  3. One mark almost 2 years ago makes him comparable to Rivers does it?
  4. In a few years when we are possibly sanctioned and have nothing to trade for him?
  5. excuse me? Please re-frain from making personal attacks to fellow melbourne supporters who have not even made a post in this thread on the topic. That is something supports from the filth would do, I would expect better from MFC supporters. Not cool!
  6. Intercepts are a totally different thing to having the courage to back up for a mark against the flight of the ball
  7. Because size and weight is everything right? Kid just turned 19, how heavy/tall was Rivers when he was 19?
  8. It ll be the day when I see Watts go back against the flow and take a pack mark. Go back and watch Tynan's junior highlight reels, like Rivers he plays above his height.
  9. His great half back man and courageous at holding the line and backing into packs to take marks.
  10. Settle down mate, the guys were havin a joke or two. No need to get your panties in a twist over a few online laughs
  11. I think Tynan will be a great half-back rebound defender. I think our half back flanks have heaps of depth right now and its great. If anyone ever watches Tynan's junior highlights he is a great intecepter of the ball and has the courage to hold the line well and move backwards into marking contests. Taggart on the other hand i am a bit skeptical about, aside from his injury concerns I have heard from multiple people who have seen him play live that he can be quite sloppy at times. Not in terms of ball disposal but more in terms of how he goes about getting his possessions, similar to Sylvia in a sense.
  12. I would hate it if we took Wines at #4 and then in a few years O Rourke turns into an absolute A grade gun (Which i think he will) while Wines becomes a just another B grade hard working mid.
  13. We haven't committed pick 26 to Viney. We committed our next 'live' pick after the bid. Regardless of what it is.
  14. We haven't specifically used 27, we used our next available pick after pick #7. Yes it is currently 27 but if that's taken of us then what do you think it would then become? And what is your source that 'its now gone'. The AFL would not need to re-open the bidding if pick 27 is taken off us, it would achieve nothing as it has already been determined that the highest bid is pick #7
  15. No, dont you understand the system? If pick 26 is taken off us then we will just use pick 49. The bidding is done and dusted, Port bidded pick #7 and we said we would use our next available pick (Regardless of what it is).
  16. What are they saying on gysberts? That he has no tank?
  17. Hows Evans looking? I am particular keen on seeing how he is progressing as I really think he could be an elite midfielder at AFL level if he managers to stay on the park.
  18. Unlike the Tippet saga this was probably not on paper on a contract
  19. I dont buy this, if the keen was keen to develop younger players then why the f would we have gone so hard to recruit experienced players opposed to going to the draft?
  20. I know this is irrelevant though I didn't want to open up a fresh thread for it , do you guys think that Neeld helped Green score the coaching gig? With his relationship with Malthouse and all I would think he did which is a pretty good indication that Green left on good terms and that Neeld continued to support him when he was no longer a player.
  21. Settle down fellaz, lets not go and over rate a player whose yet to play a senior game or even multiple Casey games yet.
