  1. Aish has a couple of years in the system and is already showing he can withstand the AFL game. Parish is unproven at AFL level
  2. it wont be let go until we start getting results from our skinny draftees. As simple as that
  3. So now we have been into Prestia, Bennell and O Meara. Swallow last year. We really want to rip apart their midfield. o Meara would cost us 2 first round draft picks. 2015/2016
  4. Reason he is worth more then suckling and motlop is because he is a good utility. Supply and demand comes into play and their are always alot more midfielders on the market then their are decent utilities who can play both forward and back.
  5. Sorry, just any hope i used to have in the draft is long gone now and personally i believe if we go to the draft again that we will struggle to improve at all on-field whilst at the same time probably diminishing any young talent we do have due to the lack of senior players and leaders
  6. Nice, another Toumpas to save us from our woes. Hurrah!
  7. Fills me with confidence that he was the 3rd player we were looking at. Not because he isn't on our list but because it means our recruiting staff are looking in the right direction now and know how to spot the goodies.
  8. Most players we bring it happens. Dawes was decent when he first came in. Terlich wasn't so bad. VandenBerg, Tyson, Lamumba, Clark, Trengove, JKH, Grimes , the list goes on. All our players go to [censored] in the red and blue. hogan Brayshaw and Garlett look like our best players...
  9. I'm actually struggling to find anything that describes Parish as aggressive. If he isn't aggresive then we may as well toss him in the same basket as Toumpas Watts and Cook
  10. Yes they did. I looked it up again before u posted that and found several that did. Do your research before posting accusations mate
  11. You know you are down [censored] creek when McKenzie is pushing for senior selection...
  12. If Gawn left for money he would deserve the Goodes treatment. After we have spent 6 or so years developing him and nursing him through repeat knee injuries the least he can do is sign with us.
  13. http://mobile.news.com.au/national/south-australia/former-world-pole-vault-champion-dmitri-markov-has-high-hopes-for-footballplaying-son-oleg/story-fnii5yv4-1227012784559 Just answered my own question with Google. Looks like he would need a bit of time to develop but could be a handy utility. Worth a look if he slips to 3rd round?
  14. Oleg Markov Anyone know what his like? (besides sounding like an opponent Rocky Balboa would face)
  15. Depends who your talking to. Some reports had them as aggressive juniors. Kelly's tackle count got a good mention usually. I think going a light frame with this draft is too risky. We don't need the nice icing players. We need ones who can get in and win bloody clearances against teams like St Kilda.
  16. I worry about the skinny kids. We have seen many times skinny kids being aggressive in underage and as soon as they hit AFL they get pushed off the ball easy and lose confidence.
  17. No issue from my end. The AFL on the other hand.... Anyway let's save this topic for another thread if someone makes one. My bad for derailment. 39 possessions with good ball movement is something no MFC player has done in years. We need more accumulators like this!
  18. These posts make me sick. 8 years at the bottom and we are still behind? Seriously??
  19. When Dawes brings the ball to ground why the Fark does he always still try to grab the ball off the person roving it? Ends up 2 MFC Players trying to grab the ball off each other's. It's fucken stupid and he always does it
  20. Making usual excuses is one dimensional. How about man the [censored] up and say we played like [censored]? Because that's what happened
  21. Making excuses for young players isn't an option. St Kildas young players were fine and if ours ARNT up to it then don't farken play them.
