Oh man, so much. I don't care about our reputation as toffs, but that used to kill me. Looks like no one else is curious. The only other time I've seen them is something like a giant Kim Kardashian putting off a free throw in the NBA. Where do they even get them from?

Let's not get existential. Pretty sure it's just us that does the giant heads. It's weird.

Are we the only team that has giant heads of our players in the crowd? Why do we do it? Surely it'd be weird as a player seeing your giant smiling head looking down at you. It's weird isn't it?

Just makes me think of that guy that used to turn up at the Canberra pub where I'd watch demons games during the Neeld era and spent the whole time hating on Jack Watts then going quiet when he did something good. Sooked up a storm when I called him out. Makes watching footy unpleasant when you gotta process other people's emotions for them. Far more fun ragging on other team's supporters than your own team, even when you're losing. You lot should try it.

You have the right to express a trash opinion, but do you really want to be someone that does so? Passing emotions aren't your opinion anyway. You can have thoughts without expressing or even agreeing with them.

I love ANB and love what he brings on the field, particularly his excitement and how much he celebrates with his teammates. He brings a real energy, which the players kept saying was on of the differences between the teams against the bulldogs. Two great interviews on the website, one with Gibbo and one on the podcast where he talks about being nominated in the leadership group and how that step into a leadership role has been one of the differences in his game this year. So, question: was it ever released who is in our leadership group? I thought our only positions were C: Gawny & VC: Viney?

Very happy to see they had the courage to drop Brown for Jackson and allow Weid to have a decent run at it, I didn't think they would. Melksham's snuck in without being an 'in' the cheeky bugger.

100% agree. I can't stand that stuff. Leave it for the BBL, footy doesn't need it. I hate having music blaring when you'd otherwise be chatting to the mate next to you about the game. Quit filling the silences, not required at all. It's just irritating.

The Deeluded podcast with Cal Twomey on talking about the 2019 draft was a great insight last week. But agree with most here, Demonland's definitely the fav.

Put him on the banner already

It's hard work signing up. Ideally you want people to be able to join when they're inspired after a win and for it to be super easy, but geez it's hard work. That you can't pay with a single payment online and have to sign up through payment installments is inexcusable. Going some way in the club's defence, ticketek is a horrendous organisation.

I've been eating up every piece of media I can find on the demons this year and really digging the demonland podcast, especially the binman insights. Always dug his approach in text form, so I'm glad it translates it in a podcast. In general though, well structured and professional. Well done, lads. Question I have though is, where are these people chatting during the podcast and how do you even find out a podcast is live?

I'm having this same thing happen to me. Have tried calling the last two days and can't get through. Emailed twice asking for a call-back and heard nothing. I tried signing up online, but I want to pay in a single payment. The online sign-up forces you into 6 'easypay' instalments. Pretty annoyed.

First time listening to the podcast this week. Was super impressed, really enjoyed the insights. Well done, lads.

Guessing that's Josh Mahoney reaching in. 16 years is a long time to be at one place, especially for someone relatively young. Probs good for everyone involved really.

I'd love to see a Tassie team and I'd love to see North Melbourne fold, but holy hell would I struggle to support a team that took on the roos as part of their history

I'm pretty happy with the appointment. The guy has been a gun at most things he's attempted for a large part of his life. Has now had some time off and is getting back into a CEO role with a wealth of experience and the time to reflect on lessons learned at Collingwad. In spite of that or with that in mind, I don't know... I dug up some youtube videos of him in his previous role to see if there was any change in him between his successful era and less so era for interest's sake. Successful era Pert: Less so, Pert:

I haven’t been following along as much as previous preseasons, but this is yet to be announced as far as I’m aware. Anyone know who’s in? Normally announced after Maroochydoore. If not, thoughts? Viney, Jones captains, Jetta, Gawn, McDonald leadership group. Lewis should be in there because he is a leader, but I like small groups and these guys are as Melbourne as any of us.

I still love Buggy and I hope he doesn't lose his brashness in trying to redeem himself.
