  1. I dont understand the people here calling for the head of schwab or mclardy. This is an administration that has saved the club and people forget that the club saviour, big Jim was Dons biggest supporter. I think he was in a better position to make a call on Don than any of us on here. We've had a [censored] start to the year, stop crying, from what ive read and seen the football department and players are on notice and if the effort levels are not there they will be dropped or told where to go. As davey, green and watts have already seen this year. If we want to see the club fail again like the last 30 years lets all go our seperate ways, have a fight and break the club. Or if we back the vision and plan of big Jim, we must come together in this time and back what we have in. It is way to early and destructive not to
  2. As bad as we've been onfield I think that the way the off field brigade have handled themself recently has been something to take pride in. For a club that has recently struggled for money to sack their multi million dollar sponsor and back themselves into sign new major sponsors and do it (within 3 weeks) is fantastic. As bad as we are travelling I think Dons board and their football department deserve or trust and at the moment I'm backing them in. Its not easy being patient but I feel it's necessary at the moment and i trust this club will get us to where we all want to be.
  3. I completely agree with the article, I think we had a crack and from half time on we had most the play just couldn't covert forward and let through soft goals and that was the difference. I'm sure at the dogs would feel like they got away with one. Unfortunately for us I think what we lack most is smart footballers and I don't care how fast tall short thick strong or fit are if you cant make the right decisions your not gonna go very far especially under pressure where we cough it up time after time. I have watts, trenners and sylvia as our only smart players and I feel I'm still being generous, that's what I'm worried about.
  4. what a ridiculous thread, we've had 1 set of games where you couldn't tell anything, a good win and an embarrassing loss. settle down and let the season unfold
  5. Good post, clever. Clearly after this the skunk had to go!
  6. From these photos it looks like Moloney has trimmed up a fair bit, do you think this would be deliberate instruction from the coaches? Would be interesting to see how much his running time has improved since start of preseason
  7. With all the threads about great demon memories I thought is ask how many of you have/know where to get a copy of 'demon attack' - the 1994 season highlights. I used to have the video, the highlights are amazing with jacovich, Lyon, Schwartz, Lovett and my favorite chopper Lovell all at their peaks. If anyone knows where to get a copy I would love to know
  8. you little ripper, huge get for the demons!
  9. Despite 'not landing anyone' its hard to knock our trade week movements in recent times considering travis/brock for grimes/gysberts, 2 clear wins for us. Im not sure why people are worrying about Martin's position, firstly Clark will be a primarily a key forward (27 goals from 17 games 2011) and secondly if we're in a position where Martin is struggling to find a spot, this has to be a good sign of how we are travelling as a team
  10. he's gotta put his head over the ball before he will flourish
  11. how could he possibly have bock ahead of scott thompson???
  12. I cannot believe people are whacking the club for overpopulating our coaching department. The main knocks on our players in the past have been culture, toughness, fitness and professionalism. Adelaide may not have won a flag but they were a tightly run ship who were fit and committed.Put Craig and Neeld together, coming from 2 of the powerhouses of the competition our players are gonna find out what gets done at serious footy clubs. This is something all fans have to be happy with
  13. i think craig is still a great fit and would live him at the dees, the current coaching/admin staff have proved themselves when it comes to landing big names misson/neeld/rawlings (all with interest from other clubs), hopefully we see neil in the red and blue next year
  14. Trengoves a better kick on his left than scully anyway
  15. woweee, this time last week demon fans everywhere were devastated by the loss of $cully, how quickly a week changes things. Since then a strong coach appointed and whilst letting everyone know Melbourne will be tough and hard to play against, he has shown he is not a man of words, but action signing Mission up within days. Neil Craig could be the cherry on top and things are looking up for the dees Bring on 2012
  16. neeld/burns under neil craig as a senior assistant has to be the best option now, hard to split burns and neeld but both with some good experience before i think it is a good result.
