  1. Decent pre-season article on us. Recruit, young gun early standouts as Dees hit track, forward in full training
  2. Height: 162cm Dob: 1/7/2005 Position: Small forward Club: Eastern Ranges Games: 14 Goals: 38 https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/alyssia-pisano/ SNAPSHOT: When it comes to class and maximum damage in this year’s AFLW Draft class, it is hard to look past Eastern Ranges small forward, Alyssia Pisano. The talented left-footer is as dominant as anyone when she can wheel around onto her trusted side and win a game off her own boot in a matter of minutes. With weapons galore inside 50 and the potential to develop even further, Pisano is the premier small forward in this year’s draft crop. 2023 Coates Talent League Profile Series - Alyssia Pisano https://www.afl.com.au/video/897036
  3. She's been traded to West Coast this afternoon.
  4. Some prospects that we might look at with pick 2 in the vic pool https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/brooke-barwick/ https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/alyssia-pisano/ https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/jessica-rentsch/ https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/kristie-lee-weston-turner/ And our f/d selection in Jemma Rigoni https://central.rookieme.com/afl/player/jemma-rigoni/
  5. 19 is their earliest pick and I haven't heard any rumours of North players wanting out that would net them additional first rounders. Perhaps another club or player will get involved. But like Luke Jackson, we can only ask for what they have.
  6. Would imagine Birch moves for pick 19 from North.
  7. AFLW Draft Order: Your club's picks as they stand - https://www.afl.com.au/news/1070870
  8. Roos swoop late to secure Dees star in major trade coup - https://www.afl.com.au/news/1070987 Birch requested a trade to North. Dees to land picks 5 and 26 for Sherriff, West and 16.
  9. @Demonstone taking a nap? *they're Can't believe nascent typed that, what a dumbass
  10. Love bowser. Agree that it would be nice to see him perhaps rotate through a wing. Could use his skills delivering inside 50. Should reach out to Banana Boat to see if their interested in a sponsorship deal, I'm sure clarry and bowser would appreciate it.
  11. Might be in with a shot to get Alyssia Pisano in the draft. Will probably go top 5 but sounds like we might have one of those selections at the end of the trade period. Dominated for the Ranges this year and kicked 38 goals in 14 games. One of smoothest moving natural kicks of the footy I've seen in the girls league.
  12. But the Demons will pick up Port Adelaide teenager Lily Johnson to bolster their depth, while the club could head to the December 18 draft with as many as three first-round picks as part of their ongoing list regeneration. 13. Thanks, definitely won't be able to make that one but may make the trip on Friday. Hopefully access and parking isn't too much of an issue.
  14. Do you know Wednesday by chance?
  15. Anyone know training details for Friday? I might head down
  16. Seb is asleep at the wheel on Rivers. Surprises me how his talent is not more widely recognised.
  17. Tracking well for a 19yr old. We've been spoiled by JvR. He might get a taste this year but 2025/6+ is when we'll see him challenge for a best 22 spot. Even then his best footy will be 2028 onwards most likely. Should compliment JvR well.
  18. Thanks for the awesome report (and to everyone else as well). I know he's not demonlands favourite but I'm still in Laurie's corner and reckon he can be a big player for us in that mid/fwd connection area we so struggle in. He would be in the top few at the club for both agility and disposal. Hope he gets a chance and makes himself a permanent feature in the side next year.
  19. Really like the look of Tom Gross. Some have compared him to Rory Sloane. Jessie Dattoli is another that's worth keeping an eye on from Northern Knights as well Stingrays pair Harvey Langford and Cooper Hynes. Josh Murphy from the Bushies showed a bit in the brief time I've seen him play.
  20. That would be the ideal set-up down the track. I'm not sure Petty will be ready for round 1 though but it's still early in the pre-season yet. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Laurie and Howes given some game time early in the year.
  21. Thanks, I had forgotten/wiped that night from my memory
  22. Pickett missing? Is there something we haven't heard injury wise there? At this stage I think Fullarton is more likely than Petty.
  23. This article suggests he was 8 in 2018 and 5 years younger than Kynan Brown. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/263662/melbournes-future-father-son-prospects Dazzle, in another thread, seemed confident he was only turning 14 next year and he's usually right about this stuff.
