Gold coast play Geelong in Darwin next week and they're without Cameron and Hawkins. A loss there could see the cats fall as far as 7th at the end of next week.

Didn't get to watch the second half. Did Laurie tidy up his disposal? See he was named second best. Good to see Jefferson get some praise as well, was he presenting well on the lead and more involved? Sounds like kolt had a good game as well which will do him a world of good. Seemed down on confidence since demoted but perhaps also playing defensive mid then?

Some shocking kicks and decision making all around. Here's hoping for some cleaner ball movement.

Still not writing off Laurie. Hope he plays well as he's a candidate to come in for either Billings or Chandler. Would obviously like McAdam to come in but he's played 2 quarters out of 8 and reckon he needs 2 full VFL games for match fitness.

Couldn't be more impressed with ANBs game tonight. He's an important cog in our midfield rotation now.

Tall forwards need to at least contest the footy and bring it to ground, getting out marked far too easily. Smalls need to apply far more defensive pressure when it does hit the deck. Looks like they're walking it out at times. We're not out of this yet but given its wet it's going to be a struggle.

Apologies, not sure how to embed properly. Looks like the Suns logo and jumper might be getting revamped for 2025. My eyes will be greatful for this change, any change really.

From start time to start time it's exactly 5 days. From end of Geelong game to start of Carlton games it's 4 days and 21-ish hours. Depends how pedantic you want to be with it.

Pretty meek effort to finish the game sadly. Liked that Jefferson got on the end of a few marks as the game opened up and had 5 scoring shots for 3 goals 2. He's got a lot of development to do but the tools are there. Looking forward to seeing George in action again, looks very clean and dangerous inside 50. AMW can look amazing and a class above, then makes some horrid decisions and turns the ball over in dangerous spots. Needs to improve this part of his game before he can be considered for senior action.

Cant really seen anyone coming in from Casey off a 4-day break unless they're removed from the game at half time. Wouldn't be surprised to see the emergencies in this boat as well in Hunter/Hore/Brown. A Billings/Hunter swap could be in the cards and I'd bring Bowey straight in. May, McVee, Bowey and Howes are some excellent distributors out of defence. I know Laurie didn't do much in his half a quarter game time but he played well the week before and will have fresh legs so wouldn't be surprised to see him retain his spot or come into the starting 22. We're never going to see if he can cut it if we don't give him some proper games.

6. Lever 5. Langdon 4. Petty 3. T-Mac 2. Gawn 1. Windsor Fair few unlucky to miss out. Viney, Oliver, Petracca (2nd half) Fristch, Pickett, May and McVee all could justifiably be in there.

Bowey allegedly ready to come back for Carlton. Does he come straight in for Woewodin? Thought it was his most comfortable looking game in defence tonight so would be unlucky.
