PREGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Just what I would consider but not expecting this to be the actual changes/set-up. Out: Lindsay, Langford In: Viney, Laurie FB: McVee May Lever HB: Bowey Turner Salem C: Langdon Oliver Windsor HF: Chandler Petty Sparrow FF: Pickett JvR Fritsch R: Gawn Petracca Rivers I: Melksham Viney Laurie Howes S: Tholstrup Love both Langford and Lindsay and they will both be critical parts of our team moving forward. However it's a long year and it looks like they're starting to tire after nearly 3 months of senior footy. I know the bye is after the next game but feel they could benefit from a break now. Tholstrup had a good first half but only had two touches in the entire second half. Like the energy he brings but not sure he's ready to run out full games yet after an interrupted pre-season. Should have a good impact coming on as sub. I didn't mind the move of Windsor to half back to start the year but feel it's not a move that's working for us. Howes coming into the back half allows Windsor to be released back to the wing where he can be more damaging. Langdon has been playing well as a high half forward line and evidently a tagger is part of his kit as well. Would like him to move back to a wing to fill the absent spots created by Lindsay and Langford's omission. Either that or we consider bring Billings in for that role who has good form at Casey. I'd prefer Langdon though. Viney (if fit and able) back to his tagging role on ball and Laurie to play as a high half forward. Jefferson on the cusp but surely we don't throw JvR out again after one week.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Good shout. He didn't look right all game with that shoulder. The club obviously rate Kolt highly and he does bring some forward half pressure so wouldn't surprise to see him back in.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Posted in the Casey thread but probably belongs here. For mine the senior changes looks like Out: Johnson, Laurie In: JvR/Jefferson, Culley Emergcencies: JvR/Jefferson, Howes, Tholstrup Don't think we need an extra defender in Howes. We'll probably keep the two key forward structure with one of JvR or Jefferson. Tholstrup had an improved game against a meek Sydney but don't think he's done anywhere near enough for a promotion. Laurie's time at the dees is all but done it appears. Feel for him because he only got a 20min chance in one of our teams worst efforts of the year. Hard to see him being back in selectors thoughts though, particularly when Viney and Spargo return.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Strange that it's less than 24hours before a game. We'll have a pretty good idea on teams anyway by the time Casey play Collingwood tomorrow night.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Personnel isn't going to matter if we bring that level of pressure/effort. Doubt we go for drastic changes. Out: Johnson, Laurie In: JvR, Viney (if fit) Tough on Laurie given the state of the game when he was subbed in but he is last in and first out most likely. Injury watch on Melkshams' shoulder perhaps?

Kalani named on the bench for the Allies vs SA game tomorrow. Game stars at 12.00 and I believe will be streamed live on the AFL app/website for those that might want to get a look at our potential f/s pick prior to the Saints game.- CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans
Sydney have completely stopped. Tholstrup the latest with a soccer goal- CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans

Havent been able to watch the first half so cheers for the info everyone. From an opposition perspective it's interesting to see Florent in the reserves. He seemed a solid 22 lock prior to this season and contracted until 2029 I believe. Jesse Dattoli looked super impressive in his draft year as a half-forward with stints on ball. Strong competative player for his size and excellent overhead game. I see he's amongst the goals. Northern Knights boy so maybe one to keep on the radar if he gets home sick.- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Like this actually. We know Sharp can impact as sub and has that pace/endurance combo that can be damaging late in the game. Not sure we'll learn much about Laurie if he plays half a quarter.- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I've noticed Laurie has been playing a far more even split as a half forward/mid at Casey rather than majority mid. Been playing well, still putting up solid numbers and hitting the scoreboard. Deserves a shot. Has to impress because he will be first out when Viney/spargo returns and obviously the club has high hopes for Tholstrup in that position as well. Imagine he will most likely be the sub.- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
My best guess is they will give Lever every chance to play right until gameday. Assuming there is doubt on his fitness. Given T-mac didn't get a run at either level last week, they probably want to get guaranteed match load into him at Casey rather than run the risk of him missing games two weeks in a row. Casey play a day before as well so a call was probably made early to go down this path unless a clear spot opens up prior to Casey's game on Saturday. Doesn't hurt to give Adams a taste of being a travelling emergency and show that he's not far from the match committees thoughts either.- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
If Viney doesn't get up and Laurie isn't next in then his time at the Demons appears well and truely marked and he should request a trade at years end. If there's any takers.- The Marcus Prasad Thread
Named as part of Vic Country's train on squad as a bottom ager. Will hopefully get a game throughout the series.- CASEY: Rd 09 vs Northern Bullants
T-mac not named at Casey. Assuming no late change for the seniors he will indeed be getting a rest this weekend.- Hypotheticals on Tasmania entry concessions

Any word on Xavier Lindsay yet?- PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
I have a couple issues with this post. A player that has had chances at afl level and find themselves in the VFL shouldn't be written off. We wouldn't be doing it with JvR (who's played 4x the amount of games Laurie has). Players develop their games at different rates and Laurie has been putting consistent solid football in the twos. There seems to be an ongoing myth that Laurie is this 50+ gamer that's been around for 8years. He's played 11 games in 4 years (now into yr 5). 6 of those games were as starting sub. So only 5 starts in those games. He has never played more than 2 games in a row. Compare that to Sharp who has played 10 games already for us, Tholstrup 20, Woewodin 21. Laurie is playing far better footy in near identical roles, mid/half forward rotation, and is a far better user of the footy. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Laurie is a star in waiting and I actually like Brown as a developing player. But in my view Laurie is by far more deserving of a spot in the current 22 by recent standards.- PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Would think Laurie gets a crack at the seniors before Brown, been far better at Casey and uses the ball better. Tackle numbers similar.- VOTES: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
