Thought Viney would have more points, having a fantastic season to date.
-
Are these two games as boring as the scoreline would suggest?
-
Feel bad for Hunt having to see out his career with a cellar dweller team.
-
10minutes to work out that they don't have any questions. I don't feel good about this.

Houghton referencing a case from 1909 was fitting, because 1909 is also the number of minutes this appeal looks like it will take.

What they are saying at Waverley Park Drive

"how about that Harley Reid kid" - most hawks supporters probably -
If his ban isn't overturned, part of me would like to see the club protest by not contesting any marking contests against the hawks. Run at the ball then back off with arms raised and concede the mark. The other part of me wants to smash hawthorn at every opportunity, both in-game and on the scoreboard. Think the latter is better.

Indeed. All wishful thinking at this stage. For all we know they may get on a roll and we end up with pick 10. -

There was nothing in the Carlton one and was rightfully thrown out. Should have been the same for us though.

More comedic relief. Peter O'Farrell (Carlton): I understand the panel has had a long afternoon and long evening, so I'll seek to be brief. I like Peter. The Tribunal is now deliberating. I am now tired.
-
Some comedic relief The jurors are now coming back from their break, which lasted around 10 minutes. I ate my schnitz wrap and chips in 7 minutes and am feeling ill Lachie Neale is being dialled. His number is 04...... Much like my Mum when I actually need to talk to her, Neale is not answering his phone. Neale has joined the Tribunal via video link. He is being introduced to everyone. He is introduced to the Tribunal secretary and replies "no worries".

Gleeson states they believe his intention is to spoil the ball. Then he's allowed to contest the ball as per their rules, how is this not a massive contradiction. Surely we appeal again.
-
That sums it up so much better than how I put it.

Just another funny quip from the blog writer. Picture a narcissistic person announcing their senior job title to someone they meet as some affirmation of their authority and importance.

Edit: I'll leave it to the professionals to update.

The person giving updates has a sense of humour "Bradley Close is present at the hearing, but it appears he will not be giving evidence. As such, we will have to take it on face value that his name is Bradley Close." Ihle (Geelong): It was Dawson that took the tackle in the direction it went, it was Dawson that brought the two of them towards the ground, it was Dawson who lost his footy, it was Dawson who chose to hold onto the ball. Editorial summary: It was Dawson

Chaplin said Rivers was sick prior to the game, could be some sort of bug running through the club at the moment.

Looks like kynan brown played over the weekend, anyone know how he went? -
Not even a strike or high impact, taken off for precaution due to it being around the neck. No injury sustained. Surely we appeal.

May as well suspend kozzie while they're at it. Carless conduct, high contact, medium impact. Fmd.
