Haven't read the article but I think the key to getting pick 4 will be a clubs willingness to trade a future pick as well. I think we'll be more than comfortable adding a future first with our swag of picks, can't see Adelaide willing to run that risk.

Good to see some posters recognising his talents. I've been going into bat for him recently as I think he has the makings of a solid best 22 player for us. When up and running he will be one of our best ball users.

Touche
-
Hope the team can do him a solid and win against pies to give his foot more of a break.
-
North could even grab Duursma considering his late season form. Wouldn't discount Watson from being in the conversation for both North and Hawks as well.

Knee injury at 2.44 Hopefully not serious Edit: only minor but probably won't play again this season. Bendigo Pioneers star Harley Reid is highly unlikely to play again this year, with the No. 1 pick favourite set to be placed in cotton wool after suffering a minor knee injury on the weekend.
-
Does anyone know how significant his knee injury was last week? He didn't play this week.

I feel I may have stuffed it. When it stated there wasn't enough tickets in Cat 5, I changed category down to Cat 6 and applied for the same amount of tickets. However I think it didn't remove the tickets from Cat 5. It timed out before I realised.
-
Thanks for the offer but I think I'll make plans to watch it at home with family and try my luck with our next final.
-
No luck for me, can't even buy a single ticket in standing or restricted view.

Is this a redhead 6th sense sort of thing?

Judd McVee named 4th on Zero Hanger's Rookie of the Year
Nascent replied to samcantstandya's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's had a very solid year McVee, glad he's getting some recognition. Has fitted seamlessly into our backline and is doing some ridiculous stuff for a rookie in our second year. Some very impressive kids this year as well. Sheezel, Ashcroft, Owens, Amiss, Humphrey, Wilmot, JvR, Callaghan, Ginbey, Michaelanny, Weddle, Phillipou, Fletcher, Andrew among others -
Waiting until 3 so I can go with family. Wish me luck.

Agree. Not that Norths VFL defence was much to write home about, but McDonald get several marks on the lead with good separation inside the forward 50. Haven't seen that with him for a very long time.
-
Apologies if this has already been answered. Can I buy tickets for non-members at all? Was hoping to bring my wife, parents and a couple mates expressing interest. Email says one ticket per barcode but can buy 10 tickets per transaction. I take that to mean all parties would need a membership?
-
Club might be concerned about our lack of midfield depth, particularly if all of Dunstan, Harmes amd Jordon all move on. I dont mind him as a player but cant help but feel there would be better ways to use 5x6-700k
-
Apologies if covered already. Win puts us into a Prelim and will face one of Brisbane, Port, St Kilda or Giants. Lose and we play the winner of Carlton vs Sydney in a Semi

Out: Melksham In: McDonald Sub: Smith I would bring Laurie into the 22 and move Smith to the sub role where he can be deployed where needed due to his versatility.
-
Laurie had 4 touches in 4 minutes. Also has 4x the amount of disposals than Salem. What is going on with him?
-
Reckon Parker fired up Viney and the team with his little verbal tough man act near the boundary
-
Chandler having a mare. Any chance Hunter can kick a drop punt?
-
Grundy and McDonald playing very well
-
Laurie and Tomlinson are both in Sydney according to some previous posts. I would imagine McDonald will get a full run at Casey. Not sure if woewy is up there or playing at Casey.

Sydney came runner up in 2014 and got Isaac Heeney for a bargain at pick 18 being a part of their academy. Was rated a top 5 pick. Pretty sure there was a mini outcry after that so the afl changed the rules meaning clubs then had to match bids for their academy players. This was the introduction of the new draft points system rather than just clubs using their next selection. The following year we bid on Mills at #3. Thank god they matched.
-
You can see how compromised this draft could potentially be. Just a note on your order, GC have pick 4 (pick 6 in your mock) and will presumably trade it out... so there will be another selection between Hawks and Melbourne with the GC Read bid notwithstanding. Might be us, might be another team. If your general order stays then we miss out on Duursma and we're looking at prospects from Caddy onwards.
