Exactly, instead of trying to catch up with other teams, good sides create their own modern game.
-
Our backline is ordinary as well - be honest. Garland is the champion of clangers, Rivers has a go but ive never been convinecd by him and I honestly think our backline was better with Ryan Ferguson, Bell and that bloke with the weird moustache and hair (i cant even think of his name now and I used to rate him). We are ordinary at every level.
-
We wont win a game this year. We arent even close.
-
Whats the point of more draft picks when we've wasted the ones we've had or not developed the players we've got. Casey's list would be showing more.
-
Jurrah will be in jail, Garland has had a shocker, Bartram tries but isnt AFL standard, Rohan Bail is ordinary, honestly mate I cant actually see any light at the end of the tunnel. Neeld do a Balmy and just go home at 3/4 time...
-
My neiighbour just found out i go for the dees and laughed. Yeah its hilarous!
-
Honestly Neeld - whether he is to blame for this or not - I want him to show some balls which is what we've needed in a coach since Northey.
-
Should have traded some of these players when they had currency. We are screwed - no one will touch these guys mark my words. Blood the youngsters, sack the rest.
-
Ok Howe can stay.
-
Jeremy Howe - nice mark. Now you need to kick it... Green did well. With Howe's marking, Morton's disposal and Clark's goal kicking we have one good player if we could mix them together.
-
I think armless players would have more impact...
-
Concentrating on fitness rather than actual footy?
-
Can he? I think he can just mark...
-
Do a Blight as someone else said. Sack half the team. They arent up to it and they arent even trying. We'd be better with just kids. Just useless by every measure.
-
Sack everybody! coach, admin and all players LOL. In all seriousness this is an UTTER disgrace...
-
True of other sides, but for too long it has been enough at the Demons

None of my locals are playing this game. Is there a way I can watch it online? -

It would be nice to see Gysberts back from injury. -
I think this is our best chance in the next few for some reason as well. We've played ok against the Swans recently.

I doubt cloke would have many either mate, you cant kick goals when the ball doesnt even make it to you. Delivery is the key. Cloke has had a few good years but he took a LONG time to get there. We have some players that MIGHT be in the same boat. Time will tell, but in the meantime the game is won by the midfielders -
Gary generally gives me the shizens. But I agree on this point but so does most of the media fraternity. The older players are the problem - cant handle the new game plan and are often getting less touches than their younger counterparts. They need to lift or move over for others who can get the game plan, play defensively and shelter our youngsters until they are up to it. As for watching at a pub - sounds good mate! Hope its warm!
-
Dont agree - we need at laest two seasoned midfielders to shelter our younger players until they are up to it size wise. Players that can actually spread would be helpful as well.

I cant believe people here think that we want or need Travis Cloke when we have a midfield devoid of stars and that is miles behind the rest of the comp. What good is having two high paid forwards standing about all day if we enter our forward 50 half the time our opponents do? madness... Defensive pressure would be helpful in our forward 50 rather than another tall forward to clog it up. The cloke thing is a smoke screen. midfielders all the way - and quality ones - ones from clubs that have won premierships recently or that want to return to Victoria. -
Very keen to stay. Well spoken as well. Impressed me.

Jamar seemed quite well spoken and very forceful in the way he defended Jack Watts. I was impressed. he came across as a person who didnt afford BS. I wish id realised he was like that before the interview.
