A tie might have been a more fitting result as there was nothing between the 2 sides in a riotous affair. I thought Garoppolo was reasonably good without being outstanding. He's had better games this year though so there's upside. Both QB's were about as good as each other today. Whoever had the ball last ultimately won the game so the Niners were a tad unlucky. The Packers go to San Francisco in 2 weeks time and that result will have ramifications with the Vikings & Seattle looming large in each respective division.

It's looking like Liverpool's title to lose after last night's win over City. The passing from Robertson & Alexander-Arnold is spectacular - it's like watching the great German or Brazil teams out from the defence For all your EPL Highlights - Optus Sport Youtube

Reasonably sure all the links (below) still work n.b. Many of the teams in the English National League South (and North) average close to or above 3 goals per game and often close to 4 goals per game. Midweek games often feature as well as the Saturday games. I've got a mate who follows racing closer than I do yet he doesn't bet on the horses. So for some there's a genuine fanatacism where for others the gambling element is the main focus thus they probably need to take a break. For myself, I often need a complete break from the footy. For the 6 months in the off-season I'm really only interested in who we've recruited or if we're losing a decent player or 2. But I'm a percentage punter with regards to the horses and I risk very little in the process. I get a lot of small collects doing exacta's primarily but there's always the chance to win a substantial amount with the right combination - got a few nice collects yesterday as a consequence. So the high's are great and the low's are often inconsequential. I'm having a few bets today but again, feature races only involved (Ararat Cup, China Bowl (Ararat) and 2 Group races up in Singapore) ... Willie Pike & Craig Williams are riding up in Singapore today too - much in demand those 2! And we can expect to see Hugh Bowman & JMac for the 2 upcoming feature days up in Hong Kong (Nov 17, Dec 8 )

The racing season never really stops for me Wadda but I do scale things back to a point where I mainly follow the Group racing only ... and as well as Sandown next week there's a number of Group1, G2 & G3 races at Ascot leading up to the new year culminating in the Perth Cup to be run on the 5th of January. The lesser focus between seasons appeals and it's a lot less overwhelming which also suits. Ballarat Cup is in 2 weeks as well as the 2 new $1Miilion dollar races out of Newcastle & Kembla Grange over the next 2 weekends. And in the New Year the Magic Millions rolls around again. I'll keep posting up a few previews and replays until the Autumn comes around just out of interest. Much as I like a bet I'm an absolute horse racing enthusiast much like many are footy fans 24/7. I watch all the shows, the podcasts & radio coverage - the works. Sports betting is ok but it's not all that conversational. To me racing is King. Australian Group Racing

VRC Kennedy Oaks – What you need to know (JustHorseRacing) On the surface it looks like the winner should come from the first 4 in the betting but the Oaks can throw up upset wins and with the placings as well. Maybe the 5, 8, 9 or the 10 can get into the finish to provide a bit of value.

The TAB takes about 20% no matter what the dividend is on trifecta's and the like. Fixed odds is different but tote odds has an automatic % attached. 80/20 is the usual ratio although some of the forms of betting are 85/15 or 82/18. So the only way the betting agencies can lose is with large bets at fixed odds. And then they can always lay off. e.g ... if a TAB trifecta pool is $1Million then the TAB takes $200k straight off the top. The dividend is then worked out with the remaining $800k (depending on how many successful combinations)

Yeah and I'm hoping the protest is dismissed but I'm not holding my breath. There's not much Dettori could do though because if a horse hangs in late it is very difficult for the jockey to adjust in time. Edit: Ugh ... $333 down to zero You win some you lose some and I recall being on the other side of the ledger in the Caulfield Stakes last year. (Benbatl should have been relegated to 2nd) Il Paradiso was probably robbed of victory in all reality. Those on it might feel aggrieved as it was storming through before the interference.

Well leg 1 salutes ... waiting around 3 hours for the next 2 legs! The inside going seems to be the go too.
