PRESEASON TRAINING & COMMUNITY CAMP
I tend to agree and we’re all entitled to our opinion and there’s a bias in how we each view things, leading to assumptions and people maybe seeing what they want to see I would consider CP was somewhat a little anxious (despite having a clear the air address with the group) about how he’d be received on return. He”s spoken about his concerns with the club previously about letting standards drop and why wouldn’t he just come back head down and be as professional as you can in setting/maintaining standards. It”s not his role to sell the club, I’ve seen this man in games this year almost try and carry the team across the line on his own in a refusal to lose. The man went back out on the ground on KB for the team when he clearly wasn’t right. I’ll never question his commitment to be the best player he can be and if he sets a bar on standards for others to follow I like that. If he performs on the ground for us whilst building his own brand off field to set up his future I’m okay with that. I just want to get back to being a side who you know will bring effort, accountability, team first and a buy in that we can see they are playing to a plan each week

- Players who need a big year
Biggest thing is across the board buy in on team first It was evident in 2021 needs to get back to that fine balance between me/we - do your job for the team- Players who need a big year
Petty, Oliver, Fritsch and Sparrow all need good years and if they do and our regular players stay on the park we will go well. Jefferson and the new boys just need a bit of exposure and opportunity to develop under the more experienced players- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
I would imagine Simon would remain in Perth, his boy Sonny heading in to Yr 11 and settled in school. Be surprised if he moved- John Longmire Resigns
Took longer then I expected but the Genius that is “Chris from Camberwell” finally called Dwayne to ask why Melbourne wouldn’t consider Longmire- 15 years ago
We drafted our Premiership Captain that’s how I look at it, yes we made some errors but we aren’t Robinson Crusoe there- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Mail is Richmond super tight lipped on Pick 1 LALOR/SMITH. If SMITH goes 1 it changes a lot IMO- The Bo Allan Thread
Rumour from a local footy person in WA, Richmond may be prepared to pounce at 6 Validity is not totally known but he does have contacts in clubland. said to him I believe Tigers may be putting that out there to maybe force our hand at 5, which I don’t think will happen 1 more sleep to go- The Bo Allan Thread
Yes I agree you just back yourselves to have a program where they buy in- The Bo Allan Thread
Yes I do, but if we take him hoping his GF relocates and he gets a clean run at it and settles in well with the group forming a decent bond- The Bo Allan Thread

Size is not an issue for Luka, he’s naturally big and aggressive. If he can build endurance for repeat efforts we have something- PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024
Moving up in the draft to take Oliver Taking a small underrrated forward well before he was anticipated to be picked Kozzie Taking a punt on an athletic hybrid in Jackson Not offloading Goodwin after 2019/2020 Not panicking when 42 points down at Kardinya Park in Rd 22 2021 How utterly Melbourne people see what they want to see and we clearly know what you want but hey you played u19s and coached- 2025 National Academy Squads
Yes younger brother, was basketball focused up till the 24 season and had a huge impact. Quicker and more athletic than Dan, not as composed but really difficult key forward to match up on and that really good closing speed as a key defender- 2025 National Academy Squads
Going early but I expect Cody Curtin to be around the top 10 probably pushing top 5 by season’s end and heading into the draft - Players who need a big year
